I requested when I booked online about a room on ground or 1st. Floor. At ‘check in’ it took a bit of time for reception to find the room I requested. She managed eventually and I was given key to room 62A, on the ground floor which I would regard as sub standard compared to our friends room (140).

Going with kids, good. Going for any other reason I would look elsewhere. Went for a long weekend with family of 4. Check in process was annoying pestering emails to complete online check in when the hotel had my details via hotel.com booking. When I arrived i couldn’t even use the ‘express online check in’ and had to queue. For dinner we had to wait 15m then another 15m just to place an order at the wood shed bar. We decided to go to main bar than chance being asked to wait for a 3rd time. Ordered food at the bar (venison burger) and didn’t realise the table next to us had order the same and left more than half the meal. I’m not fussy but I couldn’t even eat half. We never ate in the hotel again, during the stay. Lots of good local option that is a short walk or drive. Positive the drinks were well priced and quality of beer and wine was really good. Along with the price of the room and location for time of year. Amenities for families are really good. The kids had fun with the disco, arcade, swimming, softplay and golf. A little disappointing there is an extra charge for the golf and softplay for guests. There are other hotels in Scotland we have been too with softplay who don’t charge. If we were coming back to the region with family, all things considered we would stay again.

Good stay, reasonably priced for half board, and decent value for money overall. Room very small with limited window despite upgrading to one with a window, although clean and functional. Breakfast and evening meal were buffet style and had a reasonable choice. Good selection of fish dishes for evening meal but no fish options for breakfast. Breakfast was also lacking any nuts or seeds or fresh fruit to go with yogurt and tinned fruit. Although good selection of traditional Scottish cooked breakfast. Easy parking and swimming pool good. Lots of things for kids to do.

Room was supposed to be a refurbished room but was dated and in need of repair, my child even got stuck in the bathroom due to a broken door surround. Some staff were very unhelpful and lacked basic customer service. Food was over priced for what it was; the pizza from the woodshed we would not recommend but the bar food was nice. Wouldn't go back to this hotel or recommend it to others.

Hotel although rough around the edges is a pretty clean and well equipped stay. Staff are quick to resolve issues as they are a common occurrence. The place on general has a nod to being very upmarket however it’s let down by its understaffed areas lack of internal communication and general state of repairs and upgrading. This is how we reflecting in the price.

Clean, comfortable and warm, easy access to Cairngorm mountain / ski centre, Loch Morlich, Reindeer Centre and Loch Uaine (Green Loch). Food menu in bar a little limited (Burgers etc.) but has other eateries. Only negative is the walls are thin so can hear people in next rooms but the staff were very quick to act

Chose hotel due to proximity to hills. Was competitively priced compared to other hotels. Staff very welcoming and friendly, evening meals at bar were very good as was cooked breakfast. Sadly the two rooms booked were not to standard. One room tv did not have signal and shower did not get warm on both days. Other room had a strange smell, possibly drainage or septic tank? Had so much potential but will have to look elsewhere next visit.

Had a great stay at the Coylumbridge Resort Hotel. The staff were excellent. The hotel and facilities were great. The room was in good condition, clean and the en-suite seemed newly refurbed. A very enjoyable stay good value for money.

Room was clean if a bit tired. Lots of people and families around the dinosaurs in the car park are a definite USP.

The room was very tried looking. The noise from the neighbours was loud till 1am, i was told it was plumbing (which it was not). Food was sub parr at best, the buffet restaurant cost 80 for 4 people, which was of a very poor quality, so much so we went in to town each day after that and paid nearly half the price for a lot better. Hardly any options for a lactose free child. The check-in was horrendous I waited an hour to get seen, despite checking in online and the fast check in line (not sure that is real) not an option.. The manager (i can only assume) in a blue shirt and tie (the only one), looked like it was an imposition that we were there. Yes it was busy and yes i am sure it can be boring at times but a smile would not be hard or an element of interest in us as people. Parking was a nightmare - cars just dropped on the side of the road round the back as people gave up trying to get in. Only positive was the reception staff were friendly and were working as fast as they could. The young lady who brought food out to the bar every day was amazing she worked tirelessly and needs to be commended. Unfortunate to say i will not be coming back to stay, not a great impression.

Lovey resort for families with children, fabulous pool with kind pool attendant & exceptional customer service on reception (young male reception ist) great parking, large lounge area/dining facilities. Great playpark out the back & across the car park was another amusement arcade with large soft play/cafe our daughter loved it. Only downside was the rooms were a bit tired, lacked attention to detail you would expect from a Scottish Highland Hotel. Other than that we had a great stay
