checked in on may 10th and kept my do not disturb sign up for most of my trip. On Thursday the 15th the sign fell off and house keeping cleaned. When I got back to my hotel that evening i stepped on a sharp plastic piece that was in the middle of the floor that cut my toe open. It took front desk a long time to locate any first aid supplies and the GM, while nice, kept saying they had no first aid kit because things like this never happen which made me feel like accountability wasn't being taken. The only thing i was offered as restitution was a late checkout the day I left which didn't help much since I had to leave by 11:30 anyways. As someone who has traveled often, it was surprising to me that there wasn't a plan of action for injury of a guest and I was very worried about infection.
