It would have been nice to know they were under construction when you have children. I think I would book some places else.the room was nice but we ask for extra towels because they only had enough towels for three people and there was for of us and they didn’t have any. We had to wait 30 minutes to get a waffle for breakfast. They need more waffle maker and there was so many people at breakfast we couldn’t get a table .

The parking was limited and due to Hurricane Milton the onsite beach access was blocked off but the public access was literally right next door. The ocean front view was EVERYTHING!

No beach access, parking you will have to pay $15 a day per car and 1 car per room. It is hard to park you will need to be able to back all the way out and not enough parking spots.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Daytona Shores–Oceanfront July 16–17, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience did not live up to Hilton standards or the price I paid. While the inside of the room and bathroom were fairly clean, the entire building—including our room—had a strong musty smell that triggered my allergies. The door was visibly covered in rust and mold, and the ice machine was so dirty I didn’t feel comfortable using it. The pool was filled with beach sand, seashells, and rocks, and beach access was completely closed. We were told to walk through the building next door (which was under construction) to reach the beach—very inconvenient. The ocean view was disappointing due to large sinkholes in the parking area, which felt unsafe. Overflow parking was across a busy intersection, and crossing it on foot felt very dangerous. Breakfast was decent, but juice was already out by 7:30 AM on our first morning. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful, which I truly appreciated. This was not a budget hotel, so I expected better quality and maintenance. I’ve always trusted Hilton, but this property did not meet those expectations. I’ve attached photos to give a better sense of the conditions.

This property is not up to Hampton’s standards. Rooms smell musty and the bathroom floor was disgusting and covered with hair. Worst part of the whole experience was the beach access had been damaged by a hurricane and was never repaired. I was misled into thinking that there was access to the beach from the hotel and was only told differently after I had booked with no option to cancel. Hampton has lost my trust.

The hotel condition compares to the nightly rate is considered very high. Hotel Access to the beach was closed for no valid reason. Fixing the stairs shall not take that long. The only good thing in this hotel was the staff. They should be recognize considering the horrible situation of this hotel and the hard work they are doing to survive.

Generally the hotel was clean; however, during our stay our room was never cleaned. The sink was clogged upon arrival, and while the front desk was notified many times it was never addressed. There was an additional $15/night parking fee that was not specified upon booking, and a bunch of parking was unavailable due to collapsed pavement. The beach access was closed off and should be identified prior to people booking as that was one of the reasons we originally chose this hotel. Overall extremely disappointing.

Property and staff were nice. Breakfast had good options. Only downfall was the beach access was closed and the outside showers to rinse did not work.

The property had a great location overlooking the beach. However, the room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. It was extremely run down. The cove base molding was bubbled and peeling off the walls. The carpet had brown stains, and the sliding glass door could only be opened by lifting it off the track. Once open, we had to step over a 2-inch high dirty/rusted baseboard to get out. There were signs of wear and water damage throughout. The balcony had a great view but was also in bad condition. There were crumbs on the carpet and hairs in the shower. Breakfast was not restocked, and the trash can in this area and the hallways was overflowing. I spent over $250/night on a room that I was not comfortable walking in without wearing shoes. Very disappointed with the entire experience!

For some reason, the fridge stopped working the first night of our stay, and we had to throw away a lot of food that was sort of expensive. I called up to the front desk and the woman told me there was basically nothing she could do because maintenance was not there. She didn't sound like she even really cared, and she also didn't try to help or make it right

Upon checking in the entire facility was in chaos. The front desk was bombarded with people complaining that the AC was not working. There was an active water leaking dripping into the lobby. Ceiling tiles were hanging and plastic sheathing had been put up. The place was trashed. We didn’t even try to wait in the line at the front desk. We made reservations in Cocoa Beach and kept driving. We tried canceling our reservation but they refused to give us our money back. Expedia was of no help and blamed Hilton. Hilton was no help and blames Expedia. We lost $600.00 but knew we couldn’t stay in such deplorable unsafe conditions. Do not book at this hotel and seriously consider before booking with Expedia.

Staff is not friendly what so ever. They dont notify you of the parking fee in the check in or booking process, and have limited parking. The rear parking lot has been caved in since March, and they havent got it fixed, causing a hazard for kids due to the pool being next to the parking lot. Room was dirty, with previous renters items left next to bed, and just generally not upkept

Chose this property due to others review. Did not find this to be a that great of a hotel. No clean housekeeping did not clean up rooms. Balcony was very dirty as well as carpet. They need to up their housekeeping staff. The staff in the restaurant and front desk very nice and accommodating. So that helped.
