I didn't like nor appreciate the lack of transparency regarding charging extra for the athletic club amenities as opposed to it be all-inclusive in the hotel stay. They didn't mention it until check out. Its not worth the stay. Too expensive.

Our stay was amazing! Great location and view of downtown. The breakfast food was delicious! My husband enjoyed the gyms and the rooftop was my favorite place. We will definitely be staying again for any future trips to LA!

Great idea but not a real hotel feel. Very nice staff but difficult to get bags off the car, no bell hop and the access to the hotel is tricky

I loved the facilities and being able to work from my room to hopping down for a workout. The front desk was very helpful the cleaning service was very nice. I only had a minor problem with the lounge for healthy food options and service speaking english.

What a beautiful place! Enjoyed a one night stay and the room was just beautiful, we were blessed to have Bryan help us at the front desk and he made our stay extraordinary! Can’t wait to come back!

We went there to celebrate my husband 40th birthday and to have a break from our little kids. We stayed in the Charlie Chaplin room, it was really cool. However, we were disappointed about how noisy everything is in Downtown LA, we didn’t sleep very good, even with earplugs. Also, the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that, everything else was amazing. The architecture of the hotel is very pretty, the staff is awesome, all the amenities are wonderful, great location too - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

There are a lot of things you can do in this hotel. They have restaurants, bar, swimming pool, sauna, gym, rooftop, etc. The staffs are helpful. The hotel is clean and I loved the historic vibe. I will definitely be back. It is close to buses and train station. I saw a couple of homeless, mentally unstable and druggie people (or looks like it) around and close to the area. Just watch out and be safe. But overall, I loved staying here. Will be back.

We loved the beautiful facilities, especially the squash courts and all of the fitness facilities and options. We also enjoyed the dining and wonderful nooks and crannies to read or work.

The hotel is very clean. The suites are spacious and offer a good view of downtown Los Angeles. I'm never disappointed with the Inventions restaurant which offers good food, service, and music. The gym is top shelf.

Every staff member treated me and my family with kindness and professionalism throughout our three days as hotel guests at LAAC! We had so much fun as temporary members. We enjoyed the pool, workout facilities, and basketball court -- and even received a building tour from Joseph the engineer! The double queen room was generously sized for three people. The food at Invention and Famous Players was outstanding, and it was so handy to be able to call in an order to pick up breakfast. Parking in the garage was also super easy and we loved having in-and-out privileges.

Cool hotel but the road noise was very load with load motorcycles driving by at 3:00 AM jolting you awake. The ownership needs to invest in soundproofing the windows. The hotel is a classic and the gym/pool/locker room very good. The staff onsite are excellent.

Gorgeous, like an art museum. I owned a gallery myself and was shocked at the cleanliness, responsiveness of staff and attention to detail there is at this club. Thank you! Elizabeth ("Beth") Unlucky Charms, Five Pint Mary & Founder of Eli Tollie Inc.

Great hotel and very friendly staff. My only issue was the shower. Water temp was very difficult to control. It took quite a while to get hot water and then once we had hot water it was far too hot and we couldn’t cool it down. The hotel itself (bathroom in particular) shows its age, but still a good stay.

I am a regular guest at LAAC and I always enjoy my stays at the hotel. In particular, I find the rooms comfortable (especially the mattresses) and the hotel staff extremely professional and friendly. My favorite part of LAAC, of course, is the first class fitness center. Imagine a workout routine and you'll find it at the gym. LAAC's restaurants are very good and I especially enjoy the live jazz performances. I especially wanted to give a shoutout to LAAC during a difficult time in Los Angeles with the curfew. Despite the curfew, LAAC went out of its way to maintain normal operations for its guests. Thanks.

With the protests going on in LA, the staff of the hotel did as little as possible to assist navigating it. I had friends at other hotels that were offering far greater service and support staying safe.
