While not inexpensive, this is a top notch hotel across all levels of service.

Second time we have stay at this hotel and it won’t be the last time, first class service from all the staff, make this hotel a must if your staying in Edinburgh you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome Hotel Great pool amd spa

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, traditional hotel. The building itself had so much charm and character, and the surrounding area felt safe and lively, with plenty to explore. The service was exceptional; the staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Hi, There are a couple of things I would like to point our by way of improvement. Firstly the hotel is lovely and overall a fine place to stay, however, there were some issues considering the 5 star rating: 1. I mentioned that it was my partners 50th birthday celebration prior to arrival, however, there wasn't even a mention of this during our stay 2. The room wasn't ready until post 15:30 on arrival, although complimentary drinks were offered/supplied 3. There were building works taking place outside our room and we were woken around 6 both mornings (I should have made the team aware upon the first incident) 4. No shower cap / additional bathroom facilities in the room 5. The safe didn't work but was reset upon request 6. The telephone line didn't really work meaning that the hotel staff had to visit the room instead 7. Upon departure day we tried to bring coffees into the lounge area whilst we collected our bags but we were refused entry

Very rude and unhelpful staff. Reception team did not care to assist or help in anyway when I asked to move room as I was placed above a generator! I decided to leave shortly after my arrival as the hotel is not as nice as they make out on the website. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Try the Sheraton or the W hotel.

The Hotel was wonderful. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to meet our needs.

Beautiful hotel - inside and outside. We were treated wonderfully well and all the staff were so welcoming and engaged with our young daughter. We loved the little Easter treats they gave her. The breakfast is truly something else and needs to be seen to be believed. Such a huge choice of foods which were presented attractively. Excellent room - really spacious and loved the full sized toiletries in the bathroom. A truly special place that we will definitely be staying at again.
