When we arrived at this hotel, we were told the elevators, both of them, were not working. Apparently they've been out of order for four months! The room they gave us was on the 3rd floor. The hotel was very noisy in the halls, rooms etc. The hot water was barely warm. This hotel and experience is way below the standard that I expect from a IHG property. No vending machines.

Elevator doesn’t work. Vending machines don’t work. ( i was told they can’t get anyone to supply them, and this is in an area where there are no less than 4 other hotels!). Ran out of hot water during my shower the first morning. Walls and ceiling are so thin I could hear the kids in the room above running races in the room and in the hallway above. The breakfast was very nice, however.

The bathroom ceiling was peeling, my key card got stuck in the door which caused me to be locked out of my room at 4am. The Elevators did not work.

Bed was comfy but that was it. The room desperately needs a deep cleaning and tile repair in the bathroom. The TP holder and towel rack need replacing as they were rusty. Shower had mold in places on the grout. Room door did not even shut all the way. Check in was easy. The hotel clerk fraudulently charged my card $5 but how many times has he done this to people? I’ve contacted Holiday Inn Express and was supposed to hear back within 48 hrs by hotel management staff but it’s been crickets. Won’t stay here again and this stay definitely has tainted the image IHG has.

We get to the hotel and check in. As he hands me my key tells me our room number tells us we are on the 2rd floor. Then slides in the elevator is STILL out. Then asks “That won’t be a problem will it?” I mean there is no King rooms available which is what I paid for on any other floor. Not that I was ever told prior to this that the elevator was out. We asked how long were they expecting it to be repaired like hours he stated no at least days. Thanks for the heads up that we might need to make other arrangements ahead of time. Not that going up 3 flights of stairs with a torn meniscus feels great. Let alone doing it multiple times during our stay. Then there was no hot water in the morning. I mean come on. NEVER AGAIN. We have a trip in April we will definitely just look elsewhere.Do better Holiday Inn Do Better!

Just a little disappointed that I was told after I checked in and a room was assigned to me that the elevators didn’t work. It’s best to be open and upfront before checking someone in. They could be claustrophobic or have trauma from feeling trapped or medically not able to take the stairs.

Elevator wasn’t working the 4 days I was there. My room was on the top floor. Had to put my own garbage out and it stayed outside my door for 24hrs.

This place is consistently pleasant and convenient. There were just a couple issues during this visit. The elevator wasn't functioning - which isn't a big deal since there are only three floors, but I didn't learn this until check-in which seems a little late. The other mixup was there was no hair dryer in the room, which was the first time that has happened.

When we got to our floor there was a beeping sound every 10 seconds from a malfunctioning ice maker that was never fixed. The elevator was also broken and was also not fixed for the duration of our stay. Bringing our luggage up and down the insanely warm stairwells was miserable.
