The Renaissance Hotel is within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Upon our arrival to the hotel we were greeted with a warm and welcoming staff. We arrived earlier than the normal check in time, so the hotel stored our luggage as we ventured out to explore Barcelona. Within an hour we were notified that our room was ready. The room, although small, offered everything needed to enjoy a pleasant stay. The rooftop bar offered beautiful views of Barcelona including the Basílica de la Sagrada Família.

They would not allow me to check in earlier at 1pm after 19 hr flight travel. I have mentioned my Platinum member and would not entertain since room was not ready. They would not upgrade which usually they do in the past being Platinum member. It was a lady receptionist up front that assisted us and would not help. Anyway I’m so dissapointed but the stay was okay. Thank you

Very good location… clean room… the breakfast was ok.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the rooms are so clean and spacious.

Location. Good service. Place and room a bit dated but acceptable. Stayed 10 nights at prestige room. Is a big room with extra large bed. The toiletries are good brand. Sad window views. only one single seat instead of a sofa as pictured. Can hear the motion sound of train at times and my next door is a service room so there's a lot of noise at times. One or two mosquitoes. Toilet has gutter smell at times but a flush will stop it. Breakfast is good and service crew there are always friendly and helpful. Lots of good food restaurants around and shopping.

The property was great, the staff was friendly, professional and made our stay warm and welcoming. Convenient location. The crew at CRU was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. But please be aware of your surroundings as pick pockets are rampant and give the Barcelona a bad rep. We were victims to it. Renaissance Barcelona is wonderful and would highly recommend it

Great hotel! Very clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice. It’s in a pretty good spot for walking around and sightseeing too.

We were so pleased with this hotel. This was our first trip to Europe ant the staff was so friendly and helpful with everything - restaurant recommendations, getting taxis, answering questions, etc. it’s location was very central to everything with much within walking distance. Felt very safe.
