Wonderful

Nice hotel. Bit on the pricey side. Fantastic bed. Bit of a walk to local bars and restaurants. Limited parking but I did find a place.

Very courteous and helpful personell. Excellent food / breakfast and service. Great value!

There was no hot water for two days.

Aircom not working. Reported but not fixed - it would have helped to some communication on why.

Not anything special. I was expecting a lot from this place. Since it supposed to be 4 star ish. But, there is no test of 4 star there at all. I had to pay additional 12 euro per day for the parking. That was weird.

The location is a little outside of the town centre but there is public transportation right outside and still walkable (10-20 min). Quite location, the room was very comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. Love their green initiative, where you can choose not to have your room serviced and they donate to a charity to plant trees. I would definitely stay there again.

Although this hotel is older, I appreciated the fresh look of the bedroom, bath and cupboard space. I loved the ceramic tile in the bathroom. The colors (blue, white, yellow) were bright and inviting. Classic charm!

This is a fabulous hotel, with a lot of history (formerly the "Krefelder Hof") in itself and surrounded by history, especially as it concerns the silk industry of the 18th century. Many prominent families, like the Von der Leyens, lived and worked in this area. A nearby excellent historical site is Burg Linn, which we discovered more or less by accident. The hotel offers a fabulous breakfast and has an outstanding restaurant. Staff are friendly and attentive and used to dealing with international travelers. My only criticism: When there are special events (Karneval was approaching during our visit), parking spaces for hotel guests, who pay a daily fee, should be reserved. On one night it was impossible to find parking.

Reception excellent on checking into the Hotel & very quick & swift when we checked out I requested a later check out time & this was very well received. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is always my hotel of choice when traveling to the Krefeld area.

Nice spacious hotel. Large reception area, bedroom clean with nice coffee machine. Bar very cosy and welcoming. The hotel also offers a Car park which is very secure and cost 11 euros per night. A short 20 minute walk into the town where there are many bars and restaurants particularly around the bustling tram station.

The staff is very competent, friendly and knowledgeable. They were extremely willing to speak English as our German is very limited. Wonderful breakfast buffet in the garden.
