Room was not ready until almost 4PM (checkin 3PM). We were able to swim at the pool and eat at the poolside restaurant/bar, so not all that bad. However, 3PM is late enough for a checkin without it being delayed to later. The hotel is a nice luxury hotel with several dining options and impeccable service. Our bath tub continually drained during my kids’ bath, making their baths not so enjoyable. The pool/hot tub are nice. There is a “market” off the lobby for breakfast and other quick food. We only stayed overnight en route to elsewhere, but it served our purposes and we are staying another night on the way back. Hopefully the next room has a better tub.

The Intercontinental in Guatemala City is clean, vibrant and offers great service, nice smell in the hallways. It always looks up to date, and it’s not as huge as the Westin next door. Love to stay at the Inter when I come for business.

Serice and food is excellent. Room is horrible: 1. Subpar room amenities 2. No heat front desk claims the room never have heat eventhough heat icon indicated on thermostat. Room was freezing at night 3. Sink cogs 4. The water temperature in the shower is either too hot or too cold Very uncomfortable room

Staff & service was excellent!

The property was clean and has everything I needed for my short work trip. Some of the amenities - like the shower and room carpet were a little dated but overall it was great.

had a disappointing experience during my stay. The staff was not as accommodating as expected, and the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. I had to request towels multiple times, and after waiting over an hour for the first request, I had to follow up with a second call. This lack of responsiveness was frustrating and impacted my overall experience. Carpets in room stained and nasty..never cleaned , foreign objects on floor.

Our stay was good , Friendly and help full staff. Nice Breakfast.
