Before getting to room, the carpet was very noticeably dirty. Got to room it was just as bad. They really need to considervremoving carpet all together and go with flooring. Dirty carpet is germ..y. The chair was very badly stained & dirty. Would not sit on it. If I had booked more than 1 night, no way would I have stayed. Worth loosing money for a healthy situation. The room was spacious, bed comfortable & believe me when I tell you I sterilized all inanimate objects & sprayed vigorously with Lysol. Bedbugs could really live there, Please update your hotel, becausevyour nice staff does not deserve a bad review of the place where they work. The agents/ clerks your very nice & friendly clerks on checkin and checkout. Very nice & helpful.

Beautiful building amazing lift great location

The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming

We had a lovely stay, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Only negative feedback was that we book a junior suite and I clearly stipulated that we had two teenagers who required a proper bed and we were given a fold out sofa bed which was extremely uncomfortable. Definitely not suitable for young adults, despite requesting sleeping arrangements suitable for them.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the only complaint we have is that the room smelt a little dank (it happens in humid locations and we understand that, I just am asthmatic and it bothers my lungs) The breakfast was amazing, great staff and overall excellent location.

location was good, but the hotel overall was pretty gross. not very clean and just not the best. it was cheap though. staff was also very friendly and helpful!

A very nice hotel with a perfect location in the city centre. Room is very nice, although a little smaller expected, but comfortable for a few nights! Can be a little noisy from the passing traffic on the street but otherwise a lovely stay!

Really nice quirky hotel. Front desk staff are lovely and give lots of information. Bed and room was excellent and comfy. Only downside was the shower been small, anyone over 5"8 will struggle to get under the shower head. The lights where a little confusing too. Overall a good stay and would visit again.

Nice hotel, as described, good customer service. Really clean with super comfy bed. Was also in a great location for exploring the city with convenient parking opposite the hotel. Had a very tasty breakfast also. Only criticism - lighting a bit dim in main entrance and lift. Would stay again

Good standard of accommodation in a geat, cantral locatio. I didn't have breakfast but reception staff were very friendlg, professional and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

We were given an up grade and were blown away by the size and luxury of the room.

Excellent stay ,room was compact but functional ,great staff with speedy early check-in, unfortunately the lift was out of order however as we hadbeen alocated a first floor room this was not an issue,there are a number of good restaurants near abode, sarti (next door) Verona 5 minute walk both italian, the are around the hotel appeared to be quite litter strewn ,this is an issue in a number of big cities.

Had a lovely overnight stay at the Abode, great location, only negative I have was my friends room had snacks and refreshments and we only had tea and coffee🤔

I have stayed here for over 10 years and it has maintained standards over that time. Great city centre location, comfortable rooms and hearty breakfast.
