Super impressed with this hotel! Wasn’t expecting much given its location but it’s been beautifully designed and feels like a mini resort with spa, bar and lovely restaurant with an outside area. The only downside was the charge to use the pool which was not pointed out until after booking.

Met expectations . Great value love the spa. Our children ate the breakfast and loved it , we starved ourselves ….

Very helpful and friendly staff. Incredible pool, gym and spa. Great food, absolutely delicious. Only downfall was the rooms were hot and small.

The hotel was excellent; service at the restaurant was exceptional, and we had a very enjoyable stay. The only area where improvement could be made is the reception service. While the staff were polite, communication regarding room readiness could have been clearer which causes the check in process was quite slow.

Very pleasant and as you would expect. So I can’t really fault.

Positives Breakfast lovely. Spa facilities looked great although we didn’t use them. Room and bed was very comfortable and the bar area is very welcoming. Plenty of parking. Negatives Check in system was very poor. Lamps in room didn’t work, one wasn’t even plugged in. Lifts both out of order which was a struggle when one of our party uses a walking stick and struggled to walk.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room, friendly staff and superb food. Shame both lifts were out of order. Not an issue for us but would be for some. These things happen though. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Lovely hotel, conveniently located very close to the M5. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming. It was a very hot couple of days when we were there; the air conditioning in our room was excellent. The hotel is very well presented and well maintained. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and for dinner. The chef had clearly gone to a lot of trouble with some of the dishes we had. The spa is also excellent. We both had treatments and they were lovely. We almost certainly need to go back to the area again to take care of some family matters. We will almost certainly stay at the Aztec Spa again.

Nice place close to M4 but a little out of town and 20 min by car to suspension bridge. Great spa pool steam room sauna area but long questionnaire to get in each time! Pretty good gym. Restaurant was not bad for dinner too (didn’t have BF there so can’t comment). Parking not under cover. Lake view room needed stairs so I chose a closer room so I didn’t need to carry my bags up stairs as no bellboy service.

Comfortable bed in a relaxing room. Spa with good steam room and sauna, plus access to sunloungers on the terrace in the garden. Very good evening meal and brakfast and Staff all very helpfull.

A very spacious room with a patio door overlooking a garden with a pond. All sorts of luxuious features you will not find in economocial hotels, like bath robe, slippers, coffee machine, fridge and plenty of drawers, plenty of cups : 2 for coffee, 2 for tea, 2 for cold drinks. the pool and jacuzzi looks good but i have not got time to use it.

The check in staff were friendly and professional. Our room was large but needed updating. The mattress needed replacing and the sofa was very stained. The toilet didn’t flush very well and the shower pressure was weak. The curious kitchen staff were very efficient and friendly especially our waiter Cris from Italy. The food was delicious but the steak was a little tough. Had to order chips, onion rings and sauce as extra so it made the meal very expensive. The prawn cocktail was the best my husband had ever tasted! The fresh milk and water machines in the corridors were a nice touch. The room had a fridge, iron and ironing board. As we booked through Expedia, the use of the spa and pool facilities were £15 per person but we didn’t have time to use these so saved ourselves money using Expedia. The car park was free on the weekend.

I had a lovely stay, enjoyed the spa and treatment room and the room service was great. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only let down was the robes in the rooms have security tags on and they had holes in and were very grubby which kind of put a dampener on the 4* experience.

Nice clean rooms, but the shower had quite advanced mould growing.

Great property and very helpful staff. It was a much needed break for my family and we made full use of the facilities, gym, pool, restaurants and spa (massage). We loved how the property took small details to accommodate for our family, which included kids size robes / slippers, welcome activity pack and snacks and key was separate individual sofa twin beds. My only comment is regarding the family pool times are limited so it does get congested during those allotted hours and especially during the weekends when families with annual resort passes attend, otherwise it was quite during our stay during normal school hours. Overall amazing stay.
