Stayed for a convention, older property with basic amenities, but was clean and conveniently located to the arena.

First floor room and pet friendly. Having heart procedure at Northern Light and not up to climbing stairs after a long day. Nice parking lot and outside area for ease of walking our small dog. Convenient to hospital and on site restaurant.

The toilet was very low to the ground and it didn't flush very well. Room looked run down. Needs to be spruced up.

Breakfast amenities were out of service, ceiling was cracked and literally falling in, dog hair was all over the room, smelled like a morgue, lady at desk was unpleasant, and Expedia customer service was not helpful either. Highly recommend avoiding this place and going next door. The Hollywood casino hotel is a million times nicer and hardly anymore money. I ended up not getting any kind of refund from Expedia. I had to pay for Hollywood slots next door additionally. I obviously didn’t book that threw Expedia either given their customer service.

It was nice but very dated. It is right across from the cross center. It was very handy for the event we went to.

The only negative was the toilet was too close to the wall and would be a problem for very large people. The inn is really in good shape overall. It's quiet this time of year, but probably gets a little rowdy soon. It's very convenient to Northern Lights for medical treatments that are not necessary for staying in the hospital, but have to be close. We brought our good boy to the pet friendly room and not a problem. Instead of an aging carpet the floor was immaculate with new laminate. The room was absolutely immaculate with no fragrance at all. The sheets and bedding were just plain clean and fresh. I would suggest hand towels available.

When booking it states that there was a hot tub, upon check in we was informed there was no hot tub

Clean and well kept. Large comfortable room with a great fireplace. Cozy. Only strike is that it dated and could use a refresh. Would certainly stay again.

Stay was good. Check in was nice and smooth. Close proximity to the casino and concert venue.

Very old building…air/heat was difficult to control as the thermostat was way too high to read. Show did not work only a slow trickle.

We love the restaurant! Staff is awesome and the food is always great! The bed was comfy! Dated rooms, but decent.

I loved everything from the check in to the check out except the entrance into parking. Was blocked out from cars for a bit of time.

Convenient & walkable to things downtown. It had easy parking, clean rooms & a restaurant on the premises, which we rather enjoyed.

Didn't not at all like the location of this place. basically in the very back parking lot of Casino. Not well lit at night (I checked in a night). A couple of transients with shopping carts roaming the parking lot & near the dumpters. The lobby was tiny & smell like an old dirty hallway of a getto back ally apt building. The building is obviously old & not updated. Rooms were ok, basic, & but outdated also. The tub drain at a snail's pace. But the room was clean. Staff was very pleasant. I needed an over night stay close by to the Hospital were my Husband was staying after his major surgery (I learned last minute they don't allow over night visitors). I got a deal through expedia so it was cheaper. But not refundable. The pictures were deceptive. This place is ok if your a rough tough trucker that needs an overnight stay. But for me personally, would not stay here again. Not at all a family friendly place to stay in Bangor. There is a very nice safer looking Marriott across the road if I had known about, I would have stayed there instead. Very disappointed because my husband & I have stayed at other Fireside Inns in Maine, & they were all great (Like Belfast ME). I did at all not feel safe here. I checked in, stayed in (I didn't dare go to my locked vehicle parked out front for my phone charger.) and I checked out very early. A very sketchy place and location. I really feel for the nice staff who are trying here. Do better.
