Room was simple but what we needed for a night's stop over. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and really sets you up for a day.

Very friendly people, very good breakfast, offer hot water tea anytime, may storage your luggage, good connection to all city areas. Highly recommended!

Staff was nice but the rooms was very hot and all the fans was taken so I had to be hot the entire time

Very hot and loud in the evening. No AC. Lots of loud traffic noise and bar crowds out until after 3am. Loved the area and great breakfast.

Room layout was poor, meaning two people with a case each will not enjoy the room at all... more like playing tetris from the inside. Had to climb over the bed to get to the other side due to duct at floor level on the far side of the bed. Hopefully other rooms in hotel are not as bad as 313.

It was clean and close to where we needed to go and ease for transport links train station.

I stayed for one night with my son. it was a ten minute walk from the train station. we had a really lovely stay. the room was small but cosy. the bed was very comfortable. shower was lovely. breakfast was great with a large selection of hot and cold food. service was amazing. would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Lovely, clean, comfortable hotel centrally located in Oslo. Would definitely recommend staying if you're here for a break. Staff are fantastic and I want to make special mention of Ramzes who helped me out when I checked in. I was having issues with my phone and needed to book rail tickets to Sweden but Ramzes was amazing and helped me get these booked. These tickets had to be booked there and then from my perspective and he simply translated for me and took me through the whole process. Excellent customer service and it helped me out immensely. Not only this but three days later, not only did Ramzes recognise me when I came back, but also remembered my name! That is a sign of someone who is excellent at their job and his welcoming nature makes you feel at home. Thank you Ramzes, you really made my stay at Scandec Karl Johan very enjoyable

Good: breakfast buffet, staff friendly & helpful. Bad: will not hold baggage if you leave for a few days, parking very expensive.
