Only stayed the one night and didn’t have breakfast but would stay again

My family and I stayed at the Green Isle Hotel during our vacation in Dublin. When making the reservation, the hotel stated that early check-in was available for an additional fee. We arrived at 7:30 a.m. after an overnight flight from the United States and were prepared to pay that fee. However, the front desk informed us that because we booked through a third party, our room (179) would not be available until 3:30 p.m. After spending the day sightseeing while exhausted, we were so tired that we ended up sleeping in our rental car for nearly two hours before we could check in. This made for a very difficult start to our trip. The room itself was adequate, and we understand that air conditioning is uncommon in Ireland. Unfortunately, our room was located next to the designated smoking area. Cigarette smoke came through the open window, making it impossible to get fresh air, and groups of guests frequently gathered outside to smoke and talk loudly late into the evening. The bathroom appeared clean, but the toothbrush cups were not. One glass still had lipstick residue from a previous guest. Overall, the stay was disappointing. The room was acceptable, but the check-in experience, smoke, noise, and cleanliness issues would make me hesitant to recommend this property to travelers looking for a comfortable vacation stay. I'd rate it 2 out of 5 stars. The issues weren't catastrophic, but they significantly affected our comfort and first impression of Dublin.

There is nothing I. The area except a bus. The exercise rm was closed and they are closing the pool. There is a park near by. It’s very far from the airport and city center

Breakfast was fantastic, fresh top ups constantly from the savory stuff to the sweet pastries never any dull dry or stale food. Staff were helpful too, one guy serving me kept calling me “sir” which wasn’t necessary but very pleasant.

This hotel is lovely. Only fault was the shower. We couldn't get the couldnt water on so shower was too hot.

Very nice hotel, kind staff and amazing breakfast

I recently traveled to visit my children in the neighborhood of this hotel, and besides being extremely convenient, it was absolutely comfortable and met all of my needs. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Must read review My stay was disturbed by a football team who ran up and down the corridor screaming and banging on doors. Episode lasted for about two hours. Two calls to reception before action was taken and things returned to normal. My two kids were left terrified and due to this I did not sleep. No alternative room was offered during the whole episode . I have tried complaining and was offered 20% off my next stay and a complimentary breakfast. I’m of the opinion that if your stay was left interrupted to this extent and your kids were left terrified nothing short of a full refund or something close to the amount paid should be offered. If the hotel reply to this review (which I doubt as they have been a little poor at responding generally ) I would encourage anyone who has read this review to question what they say. Perhaps with my review they might eventually respond to my complaint sufficiently (fingers crossed)

The amount of noise by guests with no control in the hallways.

Room was clean. Breakfast was pricey but good. Rooms were older- no smart TV or central AC. Further from the city center than we thought. The bus goes straight there but it takes 45 mins.

Very helpful staff

We stayed here over the course of St Patty’s weekend and it was perfect. There’s a bus stop right to the hotel which made traveling to and from the city very accessible. The staff was super friendly and the room was very nice.

Reception staff were lovely, very good value for food in the bar for a family of 4 they had a great deal. Everywhere was clean, our family room was larger than expected so plenty of room for everyone. Will certainly stay again
