I paid for a double room with two king size beds. I got a room with one king size bed. They got me a small room with two single beds and a tv, that doesn’t work and I was offered, two drink for free at the bar plus a late checkout. I was very disappointed with this out come. I requested another room. All I got was, it’s a Saturday and have no other rooms. I did book this hotel in advanced. The Hilton hotel as I no it to be is a luxury place to stay but not in this case.

Very small room, and quite noisy. Heating control was located at a height suitable for a six year old.

Central location, friendly staff, welcome drink on arrival. We booked a compact room and were expecting it to be tiny but it was much bigger than we thought, and the bathroom was about the same size as any other hotel. We were really very pleasantly surprised by this hotel as we only paid £75 for the night. Excellent.

As our original room wasn't ready when we checked in we were upgraded to a king size with sofa bed (family of three adults) We asked for the sofabed to be made. This was taken care of whilst we had dinner in the restaurant. The room was a corner room and was very spacious and comfortable. We paid extra to include breakfast,.which had a large variety to choose from. Offering hot and cold options for breakfast. We enjoyed our brief one night stay after seeing a concert at the Nottingham Arena. We would definitely stay again when we are next in Nottingham.

Stayed one night only and it was fine. Old building but in as good as condition as feasible given this. Staff were good. Didn’t eat or drink there. Very convenient location for central Nottingham

Hotel was very welcoming, staff very friendly. Room itself was very clean, bathroom lovely. The only downside of the room was that it was a bit on the small side with the bed in a very compact space so I bumped the wall when getting up in the dark during the night. We are used to a king size bed and this was definitely smaller, however it was comfy. The view was of some flats opposite but that didnt really make a difference as we were not in the room other than to sleep. I think we were in a deluxe double room as we had been offered an upgrade on line and we didn’t hear any noise from other guests other than the floor boards occasionally creaking above us. As it was my husband’s birthday, a little cake had been left for him with Happy Birthday written on the plate, which was a lovely touch. We parked on the car park opposite which was easy to get to and had a discounted price if you had your ticket validated at the hotel. I would stay here again if the price was competitive with other hotels in Nottingham, but my husband may be more hesitant due to the bed being on the smaller side.

Check in was slow, a few customers in front of me but still seemed to take to long, and the elevator is tye slowest moving lift i have ever used just a painful experience to get from the reception to my room, staff were polite gitel very quiet, room had a sliht damp smell and the mattress on bed was weak around tgr edges so it felt like you was sliding off if you sleep on the edge like me, brrakfast was nice

Clean rooms , and the hotel is in the city center which was amazing for walks and being close to everything. A bit far from dinning choices but that was not an issue really.

We booked the Hilton Nottingham because they had an accessible room, which I needed as a wheelchair user. Our check-in time was 3 p.m. We arrived at the hotel about 20 minutes early to see if we could check in sooner. As expected, the room wasn’t ready. We were told they would call housekeeping to get it prepared and to check back at 3 p.m. when it should be ready. 3 p.m. came and the room was still not ready. We were told to wait another 10 minutes while they called housekeeping again. After 10 minutes we checked back, but the room still wasn’t ready. We asked if there was another accessible room available and were told there wasn’t. We kept being told to check back every 10 minutes, which we did. After waiting a total of 40 minutes past 3 p.m., we went back to the desk and mentioned that as a disabled guest I have a right to an accessible room. As soon as this was raised, they checked the system again and suddenly found the room was ready. Because we had been waiting so long, they offered a 25% refund, which we accepted. I’m still waiting for the refund, and it’s now been over two weeks since our stay! To make matters worse, when we finally got into the room we found hairs on the wet room’s walls and floor! Disgusting!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Steve the porter who helped us with our luggage was friendly, personable & kind. Check in staff were great, the free prosecco was a really nice touch. Our room was clean and comfortable and location was perfect.
