Really friendly staff and a great location for a business trip. Breakfast was spot on, and the room (and bathroom) were both a decent size. Only downside was that the décor in the rooms and corridors felt a little dated. I had two single beds in my room, but I was aware of that before booking – would be nice if the reduced rates applied to doubles as well.

Stayed a night before going on holiday and for my 40th birthday. Hotel lovely and clean and modern but unfortunately the beds werw just horrible and myself and my husband had a very bad nights sleep and ended up wiyh back pain the next morning. Also lots at breakfast but was overcooked alot which maybe all cooked food dry and hard to eat

Quick and efficient checking in, staff very helpful

Smoking area was not cleaned daily, when there was plenty of ashtrays.

Booked at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Short walk to downtown core and a varied of restaurants are close by.

Hotel room was very comfortable. Very clean. Service from staff and food selection in restaurant that was available was very underwhelming. I also paid for parking and have since received a parking ticket.

Awful night's sleep. Hotel was very noisy, from plumbing sounds everytime a neighbour went to the toilet to the sound of a generator outside running all night. Room was spotless and comfortable and the staff were excellent. Lack of sleep ruined the stay.

Holiday Inn Express never lets you down. This was the second time we were staying in one of their hotels and I can say that it is very nice and affordable accommodation with breakfast included. We only stayed pne night this time but I wouldn't go anywhere else due to the price and breakfast option. Nice english breakfast buffet, lovely staff,complimentary coffee and tee in the room (kettle included 😀) Plus there are loyalty points that you can get. Amazing and highly recommended 👌

We were a little surprised to get accessibility rooms. When I originally booked on line the site stated we could not accommodate three nights for two rooms. So I tried the next option but did not expect accessibility rooms. It was ok but we felt we had rooms that would better serve other clients that arrived that weekend. We are very happy with your staff who were both friendly and knowlegable. Excellent service.

Stayed for one night as a couple on a Friday. Hotel in general was clean and tidy, a few maintenance issues were spotted but nothing major. Reception area was nice and modern but the rooms and corridors were not. Rooms were old fashioned, poor AC, with low level specification. No USB points or modern elements. Our room and a very small double bed had a misaligned window that had massive gaps around its entire frame. Street noise was not great with motorbikes flying around at 4am! I now view Holiday Inn below a Travelodge, the quality is not great!

Noisy air-conditioning

Staff were excellent but the rooms were looking very tired and old. The shower bead barely warm and the whole bathroom was cramped. Worse of all the room was freezing cold even after I ramped up the heating fan to max. I booked 7 people in 7 rooms and they were all cold. Breakfast is adequate but not for the price we paid

Fresh, clean and welcoming. Room was fine.

The elevator is broken and there’s no idea of when that will be fixed. The tv in my room had lines going through the screen and the phone to my room didn’t work. Room 316.
