Lots of construction noise and loud utility carts during the night

Clean with comfortable beds. We were thrown by the "bathroom" sink installed outside the bathroom. It wasn't practical at all. We would consider staying here again as long our room is away from the street. It is a great location in the Gaslamp district. I would also look into less expensive places to park! There are plenty of lots nearby, but we arrived after a very long drive and didn't want to deal with looking around.

I had a very good experience very nice facility.

The room was for two people, but could barely move around, picture on website was inaccurate. The shower was separate from the sink and toiletries, blow dryer was in the "kitchen". But the breakfast was pretty good.

Didn't start off great. I arrived and needed to use the bathroom, at which time I was told there were no bathrooms in the lobby. The employees said the only available bathrooms were in the rooms. So you're telling your paying customers there are no bathrooms in the lobby? Location is a bit run down and could use an upgrade and remodel. Cleanliness doesn't seem a priority as there was visible scum in our bathroom around the toilet.

The king room was very small. Our travel was for 10 days and found the room to be too uncomfortable for the stay. On second floor which was noisy from busy street. Bathroom was extremely small and tub shower a bit risky for older guests. The location for the Gaslampe was good and breakfast was good. Unfortunately we left after one night.

Rooms are really small and old. No USB plugs. Window AC unit. Everything was in working order. Several homeless on street in front of hotel. Breakfast cooked at hotel was not very good.

I was traveling alone and did not feel safe staying at this property. When I got to my room it felt like something that should rent by the hour. I do not recommend staying here. Very low quality rooms. I ended up leaving.

Overall the room was clean. But, The AC unit was loud and the walls were thin. Could hear every little sound from the hall. Plus the door close very loudly.

Great Breakfast, Convenient Location.

Had to move bed to find plug in for the lamp that was unplugged. Floor was dirty, bare socks acted as a mop picking up hair that didn't match out hair color. Bathroom fan blows air out rather than sucking it out. Light in there flickered. Room very small for 2 people with luggage. The bed mattress liner was 4 to 6 inches shorter on each side . Sheet kept popping off. Screen in window had holes in it. Flies got in. Room faced another wall withA/C running. Depressing actually. Sink is in the bedroom not the bathroom. Laminated floor in bathroom was bouncy and creaked. We were afraid it might collapse. Guest services promised an upgrade that never occurred. Room was to be cleaned every second day only. We didn't bother with the third day. Disgusting was my overall feeling. The breakfast was excellent and the lady running it was super friendly and exceedingly clean on tables and counters. The big disappointment is that we trusted expedia to guide us to a decent hotel. Will not trust this venue again and will tell others to be cautious about using Expedia.

Small space but it was clean, convenient location and the staff is great.
