Great property

The parking and the swimming pool were amazing.

Village hotel prioritises the gym and Bar over the hotel. The room clearly had been newly decorated/furnished, but looked cheap and terrible. The room was unbearably hot, fortunately fans had been provided to make it a little bit more manageable. There is no fridge in the room, no hairdryer, things you expect in a middle of the road hotel. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was ok. You have to pay for parking as a guest at the hotel (not visiting the gym) which considering the price you are paying for a room is a joke. We have stayed at the hotel before a few years ago and it has downhill, we will not be staying again. You will have a better experience staying at a travelodge or premier inn and will save some money.

The staff were very helpful from start to finish and this helped to mitigate the minor inconvenience caused by the renovation work in the hotel. The meals were quite good, with a decent choice at reasonable prices. The main features, which I was able to make use of, were the in-house gym and pool. Both were large enough to cater for the local demand.

Great location for Headingley cricket- pool nice, parking safe but £££ Did not like electronic check in, especially especially when staff are there anyway ! Comfortable room- nice and quiet Didn't eat pub - very little veggie protein without the junk Breakfast average.

The room was very comfortable, the staff friendly and the swimming pool was the perfect temperature. We didn't use the gym. The hotel is within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from Headingly Cricket Ground (which is why we were in Leeds). We were in the bar watching the football for England v Croatia in the World Cup, but the service was still fast and there was a great atmosphere too.

Spotless room. Bed was comfortable. Sky sports in the room was a nice bonus. Breakfast was good

Great hotel staff helpful and friendly will definitely stay there again, only one slight complaint the bar wasn't open late at night for world cup games, but this is no reflection on hotel or staff highly recommend

We had a lovely evening meal in the hotel bar. The breakfast was just OK. Parking was fine and the hotel was close to the wedding venue we were attending. The biggest draw back was the diverted root to our room, caused by on going refurbishment of hotel rooms. We had to carry our cases up and down 4 flights of stairs.

Plenty of parking available at this hotel, which had good facilities including a large gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, restuarant and Starbucks all on site. Staff were friendly. Food was good.

Very welcome

Room was clean although the floor in the bathroom felt like it was falling through. Was not told before hand that there was renovations going on so it was like a maze trying to find our way to the room.

Staff are very accomodating. Good gluten free breakfast options.

It was hot weather when I was down and there was no air on in the room. Even with the window open I was unable to sleep at night. Not the most comfortable stay I had.

Great cheap stay, great gym and clean rooms, parking included for guests. Don't need staff to help check in all automated but they are available if required.

Everything was great but one of your bar staff has a serious attitude problem, sadly didn’t catch his name but he was very rude and blunt to both me and my partner for asking basic questions. He does not belong in a customer facing role if he thinks that his behaviour is at all acceptable.

Had a lovely stay at the Village Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The hotel itself was a lovely place to stay with great facilities, including a Starbucks café and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay again!
