Tiny room. Very uncomfortable bed. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Dusty and generally run down and tired. Bad soundproofing.

Great to have such a central location and parking too! The bar was good and staff friendly. Would have liked AC but the room had a fan so that helped.

I’ve stopped at the hotel many times but it appears that the staff are more concerned in attracting passing customers rather than dealing with the customers of the hotel. When making requests of the staff they were extremely rude and appeared more happy serving the customers from outside the hotel. The room was small and clean however the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the shower was a mere trickle. There is no air conditioning so the only way to keep the room cool was to open the window this being in the main road was not entirely satisfactory . The breakfast selection was average, the coffee facilities were very poor and the selection of breakfast items were greatly reduced from our last visit. We will not be staying here again and are very disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay, room small but comfy bed and perfectly adequate with everything we needed, would have liked a kettle, but not the end of the world, only one disabled parking space, which wasn’t available for our stay, but enough parking available. The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the town,

Staff was excellent in helping us while we were sick. Front desk nice too. Difficult to move in room with two suitcases. Door does not open fully so you have to squeeze by it to get in and out .

Weekend visit for traditional pre Christmas shop denied to us last year (and almost this year with the new restrictions) Functional hotel, well positioned. Difficult access to car park this visit due to new one way system and access roads blocked by Christmas markets. No UK TV channels as usual. For us it's a winter hotel due to lack of air conditioning. The nearby Ibis Budget is far superior accommodation / breakfast etc but not available on hotel.com for some reason.

The room was stiflingly hot with no a/c or fan and if the windows were opened the noise of the traffic was too loud. Consequently we got no sleep

This is a very basic hotel. Rooms are tiny with no air con, fridge or kettle. The room was clean but overall impression of hotel was tired and needed upgrading. On the plus side, it is in a good location next the cathedral and close to the main town square. Good private parking. We did not eat in hotel but had a few drinks in the bar which was fine.
