Suggest getting a sea view room as land side rooms are small and dark

Beautifully clean and comfortable. Poole beautiful but I was a bit surprised it was sea water. Amazing position directly on the beach

Restaurant staff were dismissive and often blanked you. Maybe that was a perceived language thing, us being English, but speaking enough French to get by it wouldn’t have been an issue. Main pool was closed but we were offered entry into a different area with jacuzzi pool, steam room and sauna. This was the second time I’ve stayed here where the pool has been closed. Think I should have been advised of this before arrival as I would have booked an alternative hotel.

The hotel is right on the beach with beautiful views. The inside is modern and well maintained. It just feels like it is a bit over crowded and therefore noisy.

I can’t properly comment as, when I asked for my booking to be moved, as I was in hospital, it was brusquely refused without any kindness or compassion. I am having to go through the insurance company to recover the cost of the booking. Never ever using Expedia again.

Great and very characterful hotel right on a beautiful beach. Every eco-friendly and the salt water pool is a smashing feature with overhead walkway. Super breakfast and bar/restaurant.

The air-conditioning did not work very well. Both our room and the common areas (restaurant, bar, lobby) were all very warm. We did not realise that it would be full of families with small children. There were are lot of little kids running around. If you are going with kids I suppose it is good, but as a couple we did not find it very relaxing.

We were upgraded to a sea view room and what a view it is. 180 degrees of beach and big sky. There is a large indoor pool (salt water). The Novotel & Ibis share reception and facilities so worth checking prices for both.

The view is 5 star. Absolutely gorgeous! The swimming pool is fabulous and nd the staff is lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, from the reception to the room cleaners and the bar/restaurant waiters, they did everything to accommodate our needs. Now let's face it, the hotel rooms are clean but tired and poorly decorated (the painting on the wall was done unprofessionally). If it was not for the view, it is worth a 2 or 3 stars. The food at the restaurant is terrible, unfortunately. It is bland, no seasoning, no flavour. The service was good though by our lovely waitress. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the view which makes it unique but would not recommend to have dinner there and loser your expectations with the rooms.

Very slow check-in, extra charges for many things, no mini bar, no powdered milk for coffee in room, staff not very helpful, potted plants with weeds, perfume smells in hallway—-all in an expensive hotel.

Really enjoyable couple of days. Used the very friendly bar daily, had meals on the beach and in town, so cant comment on the food.

Pretty lovely place. Spaces to relax and enjoy, cool water on tap. Our room was tight for two adults and two children. Just about ok. Views and breakfast were amazing. Loved the pool and steam room. Access to main beach a little tricky.
