This was a functional stay to break a journey from Calais to Germany. From the outside it looks really dated but we were given a warm welcome by reception. The room itself was a bit sparse and the curtains had holes so I think the hotel needs a facelift inside and out. However the staff were great and we enjoyed a nice breakfast.

2nd stay of this holiday, very disappointed regarding breakfast prior to 9.am with not enough selection of very limited items. Staff were not available to ask for replenishing the hot and cold items as they were smoking.

Smoking by the entrance to the hotel is very unnerving for single traveller arriving at night.

As good as the first time we stayed. Weather better this time with the sun shining.

Good stay especially based on the price. Restaurant onsite was a real bonus. Great service & food overall. Friendly staff accommodating to my English.

The staff was very nice. The beds were so comfortable that we both slept late the next day! The soaking tub is a nice feature after travelling. Highly recommend.

This hotel is well positioned for the main highway. The staff are helpful. The rooms are quite spacious with a large window. Very comfortable bed. I didn’t like the pillows but I still slept soundly. Food was good in the restaurant. All very good in all areas

It was very good stay. Nice and clean hotel. Good decor. Breakfast had good selection. Nice patio. It has on site restaurant and bar. We arrived late after restaurant was closed but they accommodated us and brought us very nice salads. It was very good service. One complaint is that air conditioner was not as powerful and only particularly cooled the room.

Tres bon hotel le seul bemol c est le matelas qui est TERRIBLE, en efet il y a deux petit matellas sur un grand donc ca bouge et la nuit tu peux tomber entre les 2.

Rooms are a little bit outdated but clean. Front desk and cleaners very nice, welcoming and accommodating.

This hotel is pointless! It is situated in an industrial area with a charm of the spaghetti junction in the UK. The hotel is still very run down despite some effortless attempts to do a bit of upgrade work in the lobby. These minor tweaks to the front desk don’t take away the fact that the rooms are ready for demolition. When we arrived, we instantly noticed that the Aircon was not working making the room boiling hot all night. We also noticed that there in the “none smoker” room was a very heavy smell of smoking. The cleaning staff must surely have noticed? We gave up complaining as the guy that was in the reception didn’t speak a word of English and thought we was talking about football results in Venezuela, so we gave up. The worst part of this hotel was the restaurant. I won’t call it a restaurant but seemed more like a motorway filling station cafeteria, however when it comes to prices this place believe it is the Ritz. We were initially served by a very grumpy member of staff which rolled her eyes when we pointed out that our table was unsteady. Another member of staff told us about the marvellous food they prepared and suggested a special burger which was indeed very special as this is the worst burger I have had to date. The only positive was the young man behind reception when we arrived. He was very kind, helpful, spoke good English and gave us a great welcoming. Not a good place to stay. Overpriced and run down. Shame

The restaurant -- le bucherie -- provides a wonderful menu, delicious food and cordial service.

The room is very basic. No wash cloth, tissue, or pen. Friendly staff. Close to grocery store.
