Its an older hotel but the rooms were updated and clean.

Check in staff was professional. Found floor in room dirty. Our feet were black from the floor. Excess of smoking at the entrances and as a non smoker that was allergic was not impressed as signs said no smoking 30 ft from entrances. No inforcememt. There were security guards seen on the property. Breakfast bacon was under cooked. Friends that lived in Brandon expressed that it is not the same and has gone down hill

When we got there we found chip crumbs in the pullout bed that my son was sleeping in. We also had extremely noisy hallways with people in the till 4 am. On of the nights we had someone pull the fire alarm and then we had to listen to that for an hour until the police arrived and escort the person off the property outside our door.

room and bathroom had flies and the hotel was overally crowded. Hotel staff was friendly and helpfull.

We frequently stay at the Vic Inn and while our room was the as per usual the common area, especially pool were terribly unkept. I understand the hotel is busy right now but the dirty standing water and literal filth all over the pool deck was nothing short of disgusting. The little play area at the restaurant was no better. Garbage, dirty towels and food crumbs all over it. Maybe need to hire extra environmental staff instead of the multiple security guards that do not seem to be doing much of anything. I warned four of them that were standing around on their phones that there appeared to be a person heavily under the influence of some type of drugs in the hot tub and they basically shrugged their shoulders at me. And not sure that anything was actually done. All that said we will probably return but maybe once we know it’s better to do so.

Service was great! Staff friendly!

Smokers were permitted to sit right next to the door we entered. Butts everywhere, I complained but nothing was done.

Great spot with a super cool pool area! Staff was top notch and Dex even checked in via text after a half hour or so to make sure I had everything I needed.

We stayed here for two nights, and didn’t even want to go in the pool the second day which was a big draw for us. However, there was about 20 kids in clothing that were kicked out and they came right back. There was no adult supervision for all these kids. We tried to flag security down multiple times but they didn’t come assist. We asked for extra towels and were told they’d bring them to us, then no one came. It was very disappointing that the security staff couldn’t handle the guests. There was multiple people consistently smoking (not cigarettes) outside, lots of people high or drunk around.

It's okay, but I don't think it's great value for what you pay. In other hotels with comparable prices, there is more included with the room, like free breakfast, for instance. In addition, the room I was in was poorly renovated and the shower did not work very well.

I always prefer staying here, its really good place to stay.

Staff was very unorganized and unknowable at check in. No one was answering the phone at the front desk all night when I would call about noise issues. Felt unsafe to leave my room.

Firstly, i booked the deluxe king size room. They gave use a double queen size room! They gave away our room to evacuated from the fires! Bathroom floor was filty, toe nails in the corners! Pool area was filthy, wet towels everywhere and no clean towels. Broken tile in the hot tub. Carpets in the hallway were covered with food.
