Parking is close idea hotel for a quick stop

*Leider enttäuschender Aufenthalt – nicht familienfreundlich* Wir waren mit Kind unterwegs und hatten uns auf einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gefreut. Leider war unser Zimmer (Nr. 203) direkt über dem Hoteleingang gelegen, was für sehr viel *Lärm durch vorbeifahrende Autos und rauchende Gäste bis spät in die Nacht* gesorgt hat – an erholsamen Schlaf war kaum zu denken. Besonders enttäuschend war der Zustand des Badezimmers: *Schimmel an den Fugen und sogar an der Decke* ist inakzeptabel, vor allem, wenn man mit einem kleinen Kind reist. Insgesamt entspricht das Zimmer weder dem Standard, den man bei diesem Preis erwarten würde, noch war es hygienisch akzeptabel. Wir können das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

We only stayed a few hours due to our itinerary and arriving late but the front desk staff were very tentative and happy to help us get settled in. Check in and check out were a breeze and the location was perfect for us as we planned to visit the HockenheimRing the following morning. No real AC in this hotel but they did provide an in room fan and with the window open and blinds shut we slept comfortably.

Rigtigt fint hotel. Lidt ældre stand, men til prisen er det virkelig godt.

Found everything worked well and was convenient for our purpose in the area. Enjoyed various conveniences all in the area. groceries, fast food, restaurants.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Achat war durchschnittlich - eher einfache Unterkunft, entsprechend 2-3 Sterne. Die Zimmergrösse ist angenehm, die Dusche in die Badewanne ist veraltet, nicht mehr heutiger Standard ! Die Spannteppiche im Haus sind ebenfalls veraltet, sauber, einwenig abgenützt. Der Frühstückstisch war genügend und erfüllte den Bedarf. Der Preis mit 17 Euro ist jedoch etwas zu hoch ! 12-15 wäre genügend. Es ist verwirrend, dass verschiedene Zimmerpreise, sowie Frühstückspreise im Internet zu finden sind.

It was a fine hotel - but a littel bit spetacle from the road. evry thing was fin - and the food was very fine.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean spacious room. Good breakfast (optional) to start the day. Free parking was available outside (not always close to the hotel). Location was convenient for access to Sinsheim and Speyer. Not so good: very hot and no airconditioning and one small fan. Our room faced a busy road with large lorries moving late at night so keeping the windows open was not an option (we had asked in advance for a quiet room but this was the best we got). Only 2 small pillows on the beds. No in-room facilities - no kettle, no tea/coffee, no ice, no refrigerator, no iron or hair dryer, so very very basic.

Unfortunately the room was sold with a king bed in the description but there were 2 single beds far from each other. A positive note on the breakfast, which was richer than expectations.

Very friendly, clean and lots of parking. The only down side was it is in an industrial area with not a whole lot around.

Very convenient place for our needs. Clean hotel - friendly staff. The breakfast was lovely. We will stay at the ACHAT when we return to the area.

Due to the ventilation my first room was too noisy to sleep in. Thanks to the helpful staff I was given another room.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and clean. Surprisingly quiet considering close to motorway.

This hotel is probably the best recommendation around the Hockenheimring. Polite staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and a lobby bar which is open much longer than anywhere else. We‘ll certainly be back for the next event!

We were at the hotel for the German GP. It was a great location about 40 mins walk away but with access to the shuttle from the campsite about 5 minute walk away. We had a lovely welcome gift from the hotel. Breakfast on the first day was disappointing but this proved to be as we went at the end of service. The other days when it was busy was ok. The hotel could do with being updated to include air con in the bedrooms (appreciate this is hard). There was a fan in the room but with the extreme heat this didn’t really help. Tea and Coffee facilities in the room would also help but doesn’t seem to be the norm in Germany. The staff were brilliant, very welcoming and very happy to help and a real credit to the hotel. Thank you for making our stay a good one.

We stayed in the hotel to see a concert and the hotel was good. We went in a peak season so I overpaid for the room but it served its purpose to be comfortable to and after the concert

Stayed overnight as a stopover. Good efficient check in. Large room with comfortable beds. Bathroom a bit dated but clean with good shower and scalding hot water. Overall pretty good

Great stop over on our way to Italy. Close to motorway and plenty of parking
