We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is good, staff were pleasant and it was good value for money including breakfast and parking as part of our ‘deal’.

We spent three nights in June at the Crowne Plaza and would go back without hesitation. Pros: air conditioning, extremely comfortable king-sized bed (slightly firm), designated quiet rooms, close proximity to all of the restaurants and shops. Cons: nothing comes to mind

Not as good as some other Crowne Plazas I have stayed in and rooms basic but looking a bit tired. Breakfast excellent and good choice of food and beverages. Convenient for the town centre.

Poor review, purely because I had no idea CASH payments are refused in this hotel. This hotel practice should be loud hailer-ed so that cash advocates such as myself have the choice to book elsewhere before booking fees are taken.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years when visiting family. On this occasion it was shortly after my wife had an operation. The staff were helpful in providing a room close to the lift and were keen to ensure that everything was okay for us. The only downside was that in booking a second room for our daughter we were charged for 2 breakfasts (no option for a single) by Hotels.com - not the policy of the hotel we were told. In future we would not pre-order breakfast and pay at the hotel.

Check-in was rather "long winded" but the hotel and staff were magnificent!! We also found the breakfasts and evening meals excellent quality and good value. Many thanks!

Really nice hotel in an ideal position for exploring Harrogate. Choice of food available was very good and the staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The only downsides were the scaffolding around the building and that the council decided to re-surface the road last night.

Visited 8 months ago and the exterior scaffolding is still there: not sure what’s supposed to happen but whatever it is it’s slow. Hotel felt a little bit run down this time: stained carpets, relentlessly grey interior and shower pressure was poor (had to move from 11th floor to 8th to get barely adequate water pressure. Staff remain excellent though: on the ball and helpful. Moved us instantly with no fuss. Breakfast was pretty good too (didn’t dine in: loads of good restaurants within walking distance). Good but not great this time IMHO. Rooms need a bit of a refresh.

Excellent service, from great staff. Lovely clean and spacious room for 3 adults, and access to the club lounge was just the icing on the cake - what a lovely idea.

No mention when booking of the hotel being a building site, i would not have booked if i had been told. I complained anout the noise on first day but had no response. Final insult on leaving they tried to charge me twice for parking

Good location. Nice and clean. Pleasant and helpful staff although Receptionist was unclear whether Kent was in England (Lol). Directions to the hotel car park rather than the Conference Centre is not clear.
