This time I booked a 2 QUEEN bed room, we arrived 3 hours AFTER check in time and were told that our room had not been cleaned but that it was "marked clean". The receptionist then processed to try and figure out WHY this happened instead of SOLVING the fact that my family of 4 didn't have a room with 2 QUEEN beds. After several conversations with the owner she stated she was going to have to "upgrade" our room. SOME UPGRADE: my husband and 16 year old son slept in the KING bed and my 14 year old son and I slept on thin cot mattresses, of which they ONLY have 3 for the entire hotel. So THANKS for the "upgrade" to the floor. The staff is in general NOT friendly, borderline rude. The rooms are EXTREMELY humid. Your towels from one day to the next are not dry to use a 2nd day, yet, they DO NOT have enough towels to get new ones a day in advance. My family generally checks out before housekeeping comes and I have been told on too many occasions to count that I can't have towels for the next morning because there aren't any. NOT STAYING HERE ANYMORE!!!!!!
