Rooms were small, but efficient. Very clean. Old building with character. Breakfast was included, and was fantastic! Very convenient location, in “Old Town”.

The breakfast was home made, fresh juice and fruit smoothies and lots of healthy choices with wholesome bread, jam, breakfast meats and delicious eggs. The coffee was also very good and the chef very hospitable and caring about great service and food!

Good location near the old town, yet just around the corner so quiet. Very close to the metro station. You arrive about a block or so away from the hotel. Quick walk around to the ferry station to get to the Vasa Museum. The room i rented was very small which did not allow for much room for luggage. But, thats the room I picked. So there you go. The room has an older feel, sor of like staying at your grandmother's house (I'm 68). IDK if I would call it charming. Very small elevator, but they have one. Two people with 2 cases have to really squeeze in. Where the hotel really shines is on the breakfast. They have a nice little breakfast area with a good array of foods. Cold cuts, scrambled eggs, sausages, sweets fruit and more. What was really special was the area for gluten free items. There was a gluten free only toaster and a fridge that has every type of non dairy milk that you could want. When we entered for breakfast the attendant said just let me know if you have food allergies or you need portage and I can make things special for you.

The welcome was warm. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well designed and the shower was lovely and powerful. The location was excellent in busy Gamla Stan but still very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing - loads of choice and well prepared. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Great location, wonderful breakfast. The room typical European room, older small but comfortable. The windows were large and beautiful but a bit of noise from trains nearby and people. It was a bit warm so we tried to leave window cracked open but the noises made that hard. I would stay again just for the location and breakfast.

The location is amazing. Right on the edge or Gamla Stan, just a few minutes walk into Södermalm or to the ferries that can take you around, you are close to everything you’d want to see. There are restaurants, cafes and shops right outside your door. Yet, it somehow remains very quiet. Rooms are VERY small for the money — if you pull the chair out from the desk, you cannot pass. There is no place to really unpack your stuff. Although the room and hotel were kept clean, I arrived to find lots of hairs on my pillows and comforter. They gave me new ones, of course. Shower is very good. No way to make coffee/tea in the room, but you can pay for it downstairs. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you want to stay in Gamla Stan, this may be the best value spot, but you really don’t get a lot for your money — and I am used to staying in expensive cities, like New York and London, where space is also at a premium.

Wonderful location. Close to the subway station, or walk 15 minutes to the Central Station. Gamla Stan is the best place to stay in Stockholm.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Metro in Gamla Stan. A nice renovated old buildings with lovely, helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and a reasonable size. Price was certainly less than London. It is convenient to sights, shopping, restaurants and bars, but was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. I don’t know how they do it every morning! The coffee machine tended to cause a bottleneck, but that was OK. The lift is TINY so beware if you have large bags.

Excellent location. Central location allows walking to many areas and next to the station to get the train or a ferry. Breakfast was also good.

Clean & convenient hotel. Has an old school feel to it; quirky, small, old wooden lift for example! The room was dated, was aiming at cosy but felt like staying in a grandparent’s house that hadn’t been decorated for 20yrs. Weird pictures on the walls! Otherwise, great location for the Old Town, felt safe, staff weren’t that friendly but definitely helpful & the manager was great. Breakfast was a little lacklustre but fine.

Great location conveniently near the T but that means when the windows are open, for the rooms facing the street, you hear the T and it runs 24 hours. the windows, when closed, do a great job reducing the outside noise but the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning so in warmer weather it could be uncomfortable at night. We stayed in early October so it wasn’t a problem for us. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable & the reception staff very nice. No wash cloths in the bathroom so if you use them bring your own. The rooms don’t have coffee makers or kettles. There is a coffee machine in the lobby but guests need to pay per cup, refills are less costly but for the cost of the rooms we didn’t understand the need to charge guests for coffee. Breakfast is offered for a fee, we didn’t have the breakfast to comment about the selection. There is a small roof top patio with seating that we enjoyed. Gamla Stan is an enjoyable area to explore, a bit crowded during the day but very nice to walk around early in the morning & in the evening.
