Overall a very nice hotel and beach is beautiful. However staff, especially at reception/check in, need to improve efficiency as it took 50min to check in. Parking spaces are limited, I had to park off road near the beach few minutes walk from the hotel. Which is not great when you have luggage to carry

Hotel is a bit hotel, but still comfortable and enjoyable. Food is good. The staff could be improved.

The main pool was closed, as was the Oasis restaurant, despite us speaking to the hotel 2 days before our arrival and being assured only the gym would be. Ditto the poolside loos. The place felt woefully understaffed, with the waiters, chefs and bar staff doing their best to keep up - and working themselves ragged. There were only 2 water points in the main restaurant, and only one place in the outdoor area (bottles of wine were available at mealtimes, but not water), making it a faff to keep a family with small kids hydrated. Hospitality staff were helpful and worked hard, but the front desk were mainly uninterested and sometimes downright rude. There were also some ridiculous instances; asking for a plaster at front desk, all we got was a shrug and “go to mini market”, then the restaurant staff kindly looked for a first aid kit - only to realise there wasn’t one anywhere around the kitchen or serving area! (Eventually one of the lifeguards got one for us.) We had hoped to get a cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday, to which front desk said no, the kids’ activity coordinator said no but offered a bottle of cava (!!!), and only when I spoke to the manager was it arranged. We were prepared to pay extra, it wasn’t a case of entitlement, but the whole trip was built around our daughter’s birthday, and it was somewhat ridiculous that it took 3 (or actually, maybe 4) conversations with various folk before we could get a cake made. Got lots more to say, but it won’t fit!

I didn't go yo Melia, because the hotel was closed during my time of reservation. I am sorry and feel very sad, because this suppose to be a dream vacation with my family. But Covid-18 took care of it! Therefore no photos, not memories! I used good remarques, because my friends were there last year...and they liked it.

Yoga & Pilates options every week day with Anika who was fantastic. Great hotel, though no sound proofing between floors so didn't always sleep soundly. Rarely a vegetarian main option for dinner but could always get a good & tasty range of sides & salads. Location is slightly off the beaten track but good for us as Volcano bikes is based there so we had wheels to go explore further afield.

POSITIVE SIDE: Our room half board with panoramic view was brilliant overlooking the lagoon beach and pool, compliment surprise on my birthday from hotel. The main food is fresh and massive selection. the hotel is isolated but have convenience indoor store great for your emergency need. 3 days is enough to explore around the location. Night entertainment is fantastic but limited hours only. Had order rent a car in the hotel with delivery is very convenient. customer service staff reception is excellent. NEGATIVE SIDE: Room service is disappointing every time to make up our room not refilling the tooth paste, never change the bed sheets for 7 nights. drinking glasses and towels is not enough instead of 3 guest they change only 2 pcs I have to keep asking to reception. On breakfast dinner found expired butter/margarine look black colour on top but I didn't complain I put it back and open it in order to notice with the staff, And I back the following morning they remove the 2 bowl of butter for time being is empty. if you are in half board accommodation no free water, you have to pay all the time. The drinks and water very expensive. No iron, Some 4**** hotel have provided. And one thing I was very disappointing because I woke up early in the morning bet 4 to 6 am no kettle provided to have a coffee, the buffet breakfast is open at 8am. I have been so may places this is my first time to express my feedback. So I didn't take any serious because I don't want to ruin my holiday.

Liked the room, asked for twin beds and got them. Bathroom was clean, although one of the spotlights was a bit flickery. Stayed halfboard, the breakfast buffet was great but some of the cooked items were a bit cold. That said, there was enough variety of food that it didn't matter. Would happily stay there again

Stunning location, but hotel was very disappointing on a number of levels. Very slow check in and check out with no queue system so rude guests were allowed skip queue! Hotel in major need of refurbishment, wires hanging from light sockets in lifts, broken bed side lamps and air conditioning that didn’t work. WiFi was useless. Hotel was certainly not 4 star and having stayed in a couple of Melia Hotel’s before, this hotel fell well below standard I would expect from Melia Group.

Away from everything if a relaxing holiday is needed. Rooms & bathroom are outdated and need some attention.

Liked the pools and it was on the beach. The negatives were. It took over an hour to check in and the excuse was we all arrived at once. Funny thing was that there were only 6 people checking in with 2 receptionists. The process was terrible. They agreed a cot to be in the room and it wasn’t so after walking a long way to the wrong room type we discovered not only the wrong room type but no cot and a crying baby. Mini buffet on arrival was just a few yogurts and some other unappealing bits of meat and cheese. Thankfully they did eventually move us to a different room (the one we paid for) and it was much better. One service clean we had from a housekeeper left a cockroach upside down in a our room by the door. It must have been transferred from a brush or something. The buffet food was terrible for breakfast, lunch and dinner for an all inclusive. We barely ate anything as a result. Simple things like potatoes weren’t even cooked properly and the meat was of poor quality all round. We wouldn’t go there again. It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel.

It is the most beautiful place I spent holidays so far . No loud music, shouting children, lovely friendly atmosphere , relax , plenty of sun beds and green bushes , warm oceanic water , no hotels nearby , not many tourists - EDEN❤️

My friend and i booked an all inclusive package for 4 nights/5 days. Below are what i felt were pros & cons. Also includes information that weren’t apparent in hotel description/inclusions. - Location is great & far but by the ocean. - Our room was on 8th floor (855)/ocean view, i think it’s the windy side. - One small pool is heated - Staff are nice & genuine - No temperature control in room (to make it colder or warmer) /Because it was in January- there were chilly howling winds all night especially being on 8th floor. - Not to have coffee makers/tea in the room is shocking - No bottled waters / had to pick up from bar “Gabi” that opens at 7pm & closes at 11pm. Otherwise goto snack bar for the drinks. - VERY poor Wi-Fi (almost non existent) - No conditioner, one shampoo & body wash - We couldn’t even give our credit cards to reception so that we could charge incidentals to our room - Service: poor housekeeping - didn’t refill our shampoo & bodywash, didn’t clear the used glasses - All inclusive: Beverages include all house beer, wine, spirits. Buffet food is ok, not sure what the difference would’ve been by paying supp to eat breakfast in the “Oasis” Restaurant (this is where lunch was served). Breakfast & Dinner in “Gorriones” - Spa access is chargeable at five EUR for 30 minutes. It’s a small spa. Only one jacuzzi that’s outdoors. - Long narrow pillows - Booked 2 beds, mentioned at c-in, STILL got one king bed (we managed)

We had a wonderful week staying in the Level at the Meliã. I don't know why they changed the name because almost everything still has the Gorriones branding on it.

We stayed at Melia for 12 days in August The beach is great (if you are not bothered by the naturists wandering naked) The food is great I can not think in something bad about it Maybe the wind … You have everything you need there, but to see the rest of the island is a must Cofete beach, Sicasumbre observatory, other beaches … If you wanna go shopping Morro Jable is about 20 minutes driving So yes, just go and enjoy The staff is great
