Clean property, great location, excellent breakfast!

Stayed 3 nights for my birthday weekend. The lobby and location were great, and the first front desk agent was kind and offered me an upgrade. However, when I returned, the shift changed and my upgraded room was given away. I was put in a handicap room, then had to switch again. The room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom had black mold and the bed slid around due to wheels. Worst of all, I got stuck in the elevator alone for 15–20 minutes—terrifying. No apology or concern from the staff afterward, which was incredibly disappointing. Daily cleaning was good, and the hotel is walkable to great spots, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a night or two—and only if you're on a tight budget.

I had a great stay at this hotel from check in to check out. It is really well located being walking distance to Sol but also far enough from the tourist areas to get proper meals. Views from the top floors are very nice.

Good service, good hotel

The hotel is ok. It is very outdated and has no sound proof at all. You can hear everything including people using the bathroom in other rooms. Location is ok and breakdast is good. Garage on site is a big plus if you have a car.

Property was wonderful and walking distance to everything. Only issue we had was that the safe in the closet was not bolted down, and could have been picked up and carried out.

Front desk workers are disrespectful

The rooms are well kept, clean and newly decorated. The hotel is very well located with walking access to metro and Madrid landmarks

Excellent stay. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our luggage was delayed and delivered to the hotel. The hotel staff took care of it all for us. Very pleasant stay. Wonderful area with great shops and restaurants. Wood happily stay here again.

Large hotel in a great location. The metro was close by and it is walkable to the city center attractions. Good restaurants close by. The room and bathroom were spacious. The room had the basics and had a safe. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Would like to have had a luggage rack in the room. The beds are very firm and the pillows thick, not comfortable for us. The hotel was very busy and we could hear noise from our neighbors and above us. Gratefully, The room access door handle was changed out when we were there to a lever from a ball handle. It was difficult to grip the ball handles to turn them. They offered a full hot and cold breakfast. Very good.

Nice hotel in a nice but not too noisy neighbourhood, very walkable to local spots/mercado and also the city centre.

Staff were very accommodating

The Leonardo Hotel is a nice facility with great location. Unfortunately the bed sheets showed wear and tear and/or were stained/dirty. Staff is friendly and kind.

The location and hotel accomidation is excellent. The buffet breakfast was very routine and same items every day, I wish there is a change in some breakfast items each day it would have been lot more enjoyable. Overall it is good hotel choice for our trip to Madrid.
