We like to stay at "mom & pop" places when we can and Rabbit Ears did not disappoint. Smallish room was cozy, comfortable and very clean. Continental breakfast was very simple; good coffee in the room. Loved that the refrigerator had a small freezer. It was quiet, but we were there off-season so there were not many guests. Would definitely stay again.

I will always choose the Rabbit Ears any time I travel to this area... They truly made me feel like family!!! <3 <3 <3

Too many reasons to list why we wouldn't go back

No frills motel, but comfy and clean. The staff is kind and helpful . The beds are comfortable and the room is clean, modern shower. Very nice to be able to walk into town or visit the hot springs . And easy drive uo to steamboat ski resort.

Nice staff, but continental breakfast only. At the price of a room, one should get free admission to the hot springs across the street.

I liked the "old school" feeling of this hotel, but it wasn't as clean as I like, now that I am an adult... Hahaha... And the "continental breakfast" was a joke... Meh... Good thing I was only staying for one night!

The Rabbit Ears Motel is great. I’ve stayed there a few times now. It’s clean, comfortable, and super convenient.

We had a small and tidy room with a tiny, but nicely remodeled bathroom. The view of the Yampa river from the balcony was amazing. It’s an easy walk to the hot springs and lots of restaurants and shops.

Rabbit Ears is the best! It’s consistent, clean, and the bus stop is so convenient.

Room was adequate, had a good view of the creek behind us from the deck. The staff is wonderful and friendly and very attentive. The breakfast had everything you need to fuel your body for skiing.

a historical lodge, easy walk to Howelson hill, walking trails, downtown, restaurants, hot springs pool. short shuttle ride to main ski area. needed more herbal/decaf. options for breakfast. friendly and helpful staff. very nice stay overall

I was overwhelmed with how much better it was than rating showed! I only gave 4 of 5 stars as I dont want it over booked next year:)

Very convenient to anything you might need

Nice motel, friendly staff, great location.

The sheets had speckles of dirt on them and I was not confident the blankets provided were clean. We were only there for a night so we just dealt with it but I would have said something if we were there another day. Given the accommodations I thought our night was very over priced. I did like the bathroom and shower pressure for what it's worth. Free parking is nice as well.
