Accommodation was okay. Some areas a bit tired looking but generally clean and well kempt. The ladies on reception went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Always a smile for anyone they met. They are a credit to Days Inn. Major gripe is that parking is charged at £5 per night on top of the rate. The car park is clearly theirs and only a few vehicles parked there overnight. I have a blue badge, parked in one of the disabled bays throughout our stay. There was no concession for this either.

No heating in room. Radiator on timer that did not work. Days inn do all they can to make sure profit is king and customer comfort is secondary.

It was very dirty there were stains on the bedding and floor.

All great, apqrt from the fact that it was advertised as free parking. Which is whst i specifically selected in filters, but i had to pay £5 per car (£10 total). Also the address clearly states J30, which took me few miles past the hotel to the said junction, then back on north bound, then few miles to next slip road to go back again, because the hotel is between J31 and J30. After 8 hour journey, this detour was not much of a fun. Other than that, clean, and friendly staff.

Comfortable bed; spacious room; plenty of hot water in the shower. No power outlets beside the bed.

The room was clean and tidy, we was at the front of the building and the lights outside did light up the room during the night the curtains didn't block out the lights. The bathroom smelt a bit of pee and the bath had a lot of marks in it the shower was good but extractor fan didn't work, it was a bit noisy during the night I could hear the staff and other people turning up and leaving. The lady on the front desk was polite and helpful.
