Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are nice, even though very small. But that appears to be the norm for Paris. Hotel is in a nice quiet neighbourhood with good public transit connections nearby. The Nespresso and pastries in the lobby were a nice touch.

Great hotel - comfortable beds, great bathrooms with lovely toiletries, very clean, great breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful with dining and route recommendations. We needed two twin rooms next to each other and they were able to accommodate us and quick response to questions in advance of our stay. Area was quiet at night so good for sleep but had lots of great brasseries, cafes and shops close by. 5 minutes walk to a couple of metro stations but we actually walked when we went to the Louvre/Orangery/D'Orsay as it's only 30 minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean bedrooms, nice bathrooms, coffee and teas available in rooms and lobby. And air conditioning which was invaluable in a Paris heatwave. A lovely place stay in an excellent location.

Hotel was cute and in a great area great value would stay again. Only thing is I would recommend that they keep up with the water in the lobby a bit better and have robes for the room.

I stayed here for six nights, and the location was easily accessible, and the price point was great. One recommendation is it would be great to have robes provided and for them to upkeep the water in the lobby because it was always out or was missing glasses, making it hard to have refreshing water. The rooms are small, but they're moderate and updated and I stayed on the sixth floor in room 60 one and it had the most wonderful view at night from the windows! I would recommend this hotel for sure. They're a great bistros and bars and tons of things to do you do!

Nice clean room with helpful and prompt service requests. The room was well appointed but the bed was sloped on one side. We switched sides and my spouse noticed the same issue. Too bad as all else was good but disappointing at this price and with 4-star rating.

Absolutely loved my stay at Hôtel Maxim Opéra! The location is fantastic, just a short walk from both Grands Boulevards and Cadet metro stations, which made it incredibly easy to get around the city. Whether I was heading to the Louvre, Montmartre, or grabbing dinner in the Marais, the connections were seamless, and it really made exploring Paris stress-free. The room itself was a wonderful retreat after long days of sightseeing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, so much so that I genuinely want to find out the brand of pillows and sheets they use because I’d love to recreate that cozy experience at home. The linens were soft, the mattress had just the right level of support, and it made a real difference in the quality of my sleep. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with directions or recommendations. The room was clean and well-appointed, and the quiet atmosphere made it easy to relax even though the hotel is in a lively area of the city. Overall, I highly recommend Hôtel Maxim Opéra for anyone visiting Paris. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and value in a central location. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to the city!

Early checkin at 11am when I requested after a long flight from the USA. Very friendly staff. Clean. Breakfast spread is substantial and reasonably priced at 6 Euros per day. Air-conditioning works well. I will return to this hotel again

What a delightful boutique hotel located on a relatively quiet side street in the Opera district, a mere stone's throw from the famous Folies Bergere. The Grand Magasins of Galleries Lafayette and Printemps were a 10-minute walk away, and several good-quality restaurants were within easy walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, with high-quality bathroom products included. My wife and I shall definitely return to this gem of a hotel.

The property needs repair! Too old carpet and wallpapers! It wasn’t cheaper than other hotels in the area.

The coffee machine in the reception is a good solution to having quality coffee for guests, also toiletries provided in the room were great and actually usable. Nice little details like the bottle of wine and candies were nice. The area and location is great for walking around and nice places to have a drink or a bite close by
