Everything was clean and generally good, except that we asked for cutlery at reception and they didn't have any.

The front desk lady said she was unable to extend our check out time, by an hour, on Saturday morning when there were only eleven rooms booked the night before. Also, the air conditioning wasn't working. The check in gentleman was helpful and arranged for a cot for us.

Just terrible . No air conditioning in room , and rude check in lady. Would have been nice to know they don’t have AC before I booked or checked in, especially mid July when it’s over 35 degrees out This has to be mentioned on booking sites so people know what they are getting into. Avoid at all costs

AC was down. Hell is colder. And can't open windows not even a little. Impossible to sleep. Checked in at 9pm, left at 4am because couldn't handle it anymore. 3 days and no fix? Come on... Pool was nice though. With AC 4/5; without, 1/5 is generous

We had to stay two nights and left after one since there was no AC with 30 degrees outside and inside the rooms/hotel. We asked for a full refund and not to be charged when we checked out early but the staff still did. When we were in room and complained about it, requesting a full refund and were told they have to get hotels.com to initiate it. We did that and hotels.com said that Casablanca has to issue it. Im still waiting for a full refund with two kids, it was the worst stay of our life. And we travel a lot!

This hotel is terrible. We arrived and the air conditioning was not working...during the most humid weekend in July. They provided a fan and said the power went out so the A/C was just trying to catch up. However, reviews for the hotel from the past said that the AC was not working prior to this. After the AC was on for several hours we came back to an even hotter room and even with the fan on, it was unbearable. We left for another hotel at 11:30 pm because we could not sleep at all. The hotel is dingy and stinks...it has certainly seen better days. How can they rent out rooms to a hotel that they know does not have operating air conditioning?

No air conditioning for the two nights we stayed and it was during a heat wave with temperatures over 35 Celsius , 113 Fahrenheit. Impossible to sleep.

When we arrived, the temperature outside was 35 C (95 F). We were given a room where the air conditioning did not work. The clerk told us that they have problems in some rooms with air conditioning and told us to move to another room. We did that. Then the whole region lost power, and the power did not come back for hours. When the power came on, the air conditioning did not work. We were told that the hotel has a persistent problem with air conditioning. We are in our late seventies, and as the European experience shows, people our age face a high risk of death in extreme heat. This is not melodrama; this is actually a scientific fact. We did not sleep all night, and we were feeling ill. We kept cool using wet towels. In the morning, we checked out prematurely. If you wish to use this hotel, do not go in the summer. Go at a time of moderate temperatures. Casablanca Hotel is accepting a high responsibility for not providing a warning that the air conditioning does not work properly and for protecting lives of potential patrons. Expedia should demand a statement from their hotels that the hotels they promote have all the necessary safety features.

No A/C. Fans did nothing. The owners need to have separate A/C units for their rooms. Place looks like it’s falling a part. Needs paint.

We arrived on our check in on time to a great location .We were greeted by friendly staff who informed us the building air conditioning was not operating .We were given the opportunity to find new accommodations with her help .With the very warm weather we were experiencing we did so .I cannot give much on my stay . I will give high praise to the staff in the predicament they were facing and their commitment to this establishment . Bill Ottawa / Canada

Very disappointing experience. The hotel was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The room felt neglected, and many areas looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned or cared for in a long time. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning, making the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable. Overall, the property seemed run-down and not managed properly. I would not recommend staying here.

Not the nicest place to stay. There was no AC, staff were helpful but couldn’t do much about the situation. The restaurant was closed and the rest of the hotel felt abandoned. There was also issues with the toilet. Wouldn’t recommend or stay again.

I was heading to Niagara for a wine festival and booked to staying overnight at the Casablanca. I unfortunately had a multi vehicle high speed accident on the highway. I was badly injured and headed to ER in an ambulance. My husband called to advise them that we would not be now to attend, and to just charge our credit card, and the lovely woman who answered the call AA uses us that she would just cancel the booking with no charge. With such fantastic customer service I will definitely book again.
