Quality of a Motel 6 with the price of a 5 star hotel. Everything felt cheap

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Lumpy and hard. The pillows were those stupid little squares that barely fit anyones head. Didnt sleep well all week. The breakfast was hot but monotonous, same thing every morning. Is sausage or bacon too much yo ask for instead of greasy kolbasy?

Wife realized she had left some articles in drawers after we left and had no cell service in park. When contacted the manager seemed more concertwith defending his staff’s service

Woman at front was very friendly and helpful. We arrived a little early and she was able to check us in anyway. It is an older facility, Our room had some updates like flooring; however, my son's room still had carpet. A little confusion at breakfast because we were not given breakfast ticket. Gave attendant room number and she let us in.

The outdoor hallway structure next to room was noisy when walked on. Room was fine, but stairs difficult for this disabled customer

Property was right on the strip. Accessible to a playground across the street, restaurants and shopping. The West Entrance and visitor center is conveniently located less than 5mins away.

The napkin holders in the breakfast area -which has a very fun mural - advertise winter rates starting at $79 a night. That would be a deal. Rates 4 times that high - what we paid - not so much. We like to stay in independent hotels, but the Brandin’ Iron Inn left little to recommend it other than clean and a good mattress. Room was very compact, towels thin, chairs at the little table uncomfortable, refrigerator but no microwave. Our overall impression - West Yellowstone hoteliers seem aligned on gouging summer visitors. Wish Cody was closer to the park.

The beds were clean but not comfortable at all. Comparable to sleeping on the floor. Highly recommend investing in better non spring mattresses.
