We chose this hotel for a quick one night stay to stab into Valley of the Temples park just 3 minutes away first thing in the morning, which we did. We found the room on the small side. The air conditioner seemed to run with odd intermittent noises. Our main issue was with the shower. First, the doors slid apart from the center on tracks as in a closet, but one door was so off-track, it was hanging on 1 of 4 rollers. I was able to get the top two back on track, but the bottom two needed tools. The second issue was the faucet handle was dead center on the long wall right where the showeree would stand--and it was a pullout handle, not a turn knob, not two or three knobs, a handle that juts into the action zone. Talking about thoughtless design, then add my gurthiness, it was an unpleasant dance in deed. I can't speak about all their rooms, but I would ask that they review this design flaw. Overall we slept well and we're able to accomplish our tourist objectives. I want to point out our wonderful experience eating dinner at Pizzeria Mythos Nella Valle--their food is tremendous and tasty. Great family run restaurant with high integrity. Five minutes walk from hotel. Nevermind the lower rating...their food is the real deal!

An average hotel. We picked it because it was close to the sites and we were there for one night. This hotel has seen better days. It looked very sad and worn out. It needs a makeover. The bed was hard but big. Big is a plus. The view was good. Location perfect. The linens, bed comforter, towels were all old and worn. The hotel was empty of guests and we were upgraded to a larger room with balcony which was definitely a plus. It seemed the large breakfast buffet was put out for only us as we saw no one at breakfast and before we were barely done, it was all put away.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Overall I was content with it and thought it good value for money. It is located mid way between Agrigento town and the Valley of the Temples. It is possible to walk to both, but only if you have good mobility. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and having access to a pool in August, in Agrigento, is the main reason I booked this hotel. My room was dated, the sheets and bathroom were clean but the rest of the room's cleanliness was questionable. I did not unpack my clothes for that reason. The restaurant on site is ok for lunch but go elsewhere for dinner; there are better and cheaper options within walking distance. Breakfast was also ok. The front desk staff here are excellent. Answered all questions and arranged for taxis to San Leone, I believe they have a shuttle service too, but I did not use that service. I had to get an early morning bus to Catania, the bus stop is only 1.5km away but not walkable with luggage, so they assisted me in booking a taxi for 6am. The taxi did not show, which was very stressful. The gentleman at the front desk saved the day and drove me himself. Thanks to him, I arrived to the bus stop just in time. I would recommend this hotel for it's mid way location between the town and the Valley, but only if you are able to walk 20-25 minutes uphill into the centre of Agrigento. The town itself is very pretty and should not be missed.

I won’t join the quibbling over whether this is truly a four-star hotel, but for the price I was quite satisfied with the facilities and location, and the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and hospitable. Also, the parking is free and easily accessible, a benefit not to be underestimated when traveling by car in these parts.

This is a very low quality hotel that should be a 3 stars hotel. It does have a very nice garden, nice pool and comfortable restaurant. However, the entrance of the hotel and the rooms are more close to 3 or 2 stars

Paid extra for a Deluxe room which we were told that had a view of the temple but the distance is very far so you can barely see it. Very good pool area and friendly staff. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. Somewhat happy with the stay though.

We shopped for a full service hotel with parking. The parking was technically street parking. The room was dated, but clean. While showering in the morning, the power went out. We quickly packed up and left and reported it to the front desk. They told us the power was out in the entire area, except they seemed to have power in their lobby. When we asked if they could comp the couple of beers we had, the clerk said we should have called reception and he would have fixed it, so NO. I don't recommend.

The gentleman at the reception desk was so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to ask about our day, our travels and made easy conversation with us. Not something that happens so often any more. He truly understood hospitality.

Grounds are nice with view of temples. The pool is nice, however, must wear a shower cap and pay for it if you don't have one. On the theme of nickle and diming, they also make you pay for towels used at the pool and cut out the A/C in the middle of the night (possibly to save $ or simply because it is unreliable). Breakfast was also subpar. Overall, nice scenery, but the hotel management kills the vibe.
