So upon arriving we didn’t realise that the spa wasn’t included in the already high price we paid , so paid another £40 to use the spa and pool , along with a further £100 as a holding deposit again not a problem just unexpected, once checked in we soon realised that this hotel was far from what we expected, to begin with the large luxury bed turned out to be 2 single beds and mattress pushed together, the room was really hot obviously not air conditioned, nor a fan in the room, so walked to reception asked for a fan , the receptionist explained that they don’t have any to hand but will try to find one , which credit to her she did but trouble was it was a builders style fan so really noisy,, then looking closer at room we noticed cobwebs, and faded headboard, and just a general grubby feel to the room in general, also the shower absolutely soaks the bathroom floor no matter what you do ,, there was a coffee machine in room yet no instructions on how to use ,also the lovely view they promised was far from what we got ,, after checking out the following day feeling very unrested and really disappointed with our stay I called the hotel spoke to management, who said they was aware of the 2 single beds pushed together, said they would look at cleanliness etc , and offered a 25% refund which quite frankly was insulting to say they least , with that was told that they would speak to head office and get back to me still waiting, so all I will say is if you’re thinking of booking dnt

Staff are always helpful and professional! Loved the complimentary waters - still and sparkling, one of the reasons why I return to this property. It might seem such a small detail, but also the Border biscuts are lovely perks to have! Property is scenic and quiet. Anemities incredable. Pur bathroom had a bath and a shower. Bed so comfortable. Anything you might need the room provides - hairdryer, ironing, etc. And parking is included which is a massive plus! Will stay here again!

Ok experience.

Spa gloomy, steam room smelt of damp and no private changing cubicles. Afternoon tea was terrible with stale sandwiches and little filling. Room had comfortable bed but no phone to contact reception, no robes, no AC, no fridge, heated towel rail didn’t work.

Entered the room and could already see that the room was not cleaned as it should be and the throw on the bed had all stains and hairs attached to it, the bathroom had all hair in the sink and bathroom looked unclean, got changed ready to use the spa and noticed we didn’t have any robes or slippers to wear down to the spa area, had to get changed and go down to reception and then get changed again. Booked a table in the restaurant and got put in a dark little gloomy corner with a wobbly table and chair. The menu had about four things on it and cost an arm and a leg so ended up getting a cab in to dartford and to feed two people there cost less than what it would of cost to feed one and the grange. The pool was cold and there was empty plastic cups left all around the edge of the pool. An overall experience this hotel is not worth the money it costs.

So many amazing amenities! SO MUCH COMPLIMENTARY THINGS! Thank you Rowhill. :) The room was a cozy, with slanted ceiling and view was to the front of the hotel. Woth the view of the lovely grounds! Perfect for warly spring! The only thing i would say the room needs some minor upkeep. Myb a change of wallpaper by the sink mirror, lots of black scuffs, mold in the shower by the corner. Skirting board worn. Other than that clean, beautiful, and I will definitely be back ! :)

We got a free upgrade and the room was beautiful. Hotel provides coffe, tea, biscuts, complimentary still and sparkling water and toiletries! So impressed! Bed is really comfortable. Didnt use the apa facilities, but good to know that even after check out at 11am you can still use the spa till 1pm.

The staff are great; friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was amazing; evening meal and breakfast alike. The spa was relaxing and has all that we needed. The room was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The entire experience was enjoyable and relaxing. Well worth the trip from Leeds.

Room was very warm, TV didn’t work. Bed was okay, bathroom a fine size well finished but little control in temp of shower hot or hotter

I feel the lounge bar could do with redecorating, a light colour the brown is not good, some new pictures, the horse is wonky and new carpet

Hotel was ok, food and drink prices were ridiculous for what it is. Starter overpriced, & Lamb dinner £32 with 3 tiny pieces of potato which is 1 1/2 potatoes absolutely ridiculous.

A beautiful spa with very friendly staff, good with allergies in the restaurant, delicious food.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Rowhill Grange. Beautiful locations, lovely staff and really great spa facilities. Will certainly be coming back.

Receptionist at spa didn’t have a clue had to keep repeating myself. seems to be ongoing problem.

Room was a good size, the shower was large. Little extras lovely. Spa and treatment amazing. Hotel clean,staff friendly. Had room service quick and placed on table by staff.

The property is in need of care and renovation. The room has had basic renovations and was comfortable. However the rest of the hotel is now very dated and unclean. Especially the elevator entrance hall, behind reception. We did not use the spa, so we can not comment on that. May this is just a spa day location and not so much of a luxury retreat anymore.

Very disappointed my van was broken into and all.my tools stolen with another load of vans targeted staff didnt help. Secure car park it definitely isnt camera on entry so why did no one see what happened?? And others targeted several times whilst there lively hoods lost i wouldnt stat here again.wouldnt ay
