I grew up in Santa Barbara, so I know where everything is. This hotel has an amazing location where you can walk to downtown or the beaches. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It’s just a little bit outdated. The pool and Jacuzzi were nice. The pool was heated. I would stay here again.

Overall good stay at this property. It’s pet freindly lots of space for our puppy. Location is excellent. Amenities like the pool and the fitness center are great. However some areas like the room and surrounding areas could use some renovation a bit run down.

This is older property but very clean and we liked the fact there were no carpets, the bedding and bed very clean and comfortable. Very important for us is was the "Location". Some of the simple added personal items to the room added a special touch. Thanks for a great visit!

The location and pool/spa were great. Our room was horrible. Besides being outdated, the shower water was impossible to regulate and our coffee maker didn't work. We had to call twice to get an extra blanket after 40 minutes.

Close walk to dinning areas, beach is across the street well maintained property. Only down side is the check in staff member that greeted us didnt seem to happy and was sorta rude without any explanation on amenities around the property since it did look like there was alot to do.

The view . Could be a little bigger the room and a little more updated Needs to have Queen beds and a better coffee machine ( bad coffee ) maybe a more new one a small Microwave for hot water maybe Need a more strong water in the shower

We were only here for one night as part of a road trip. We were initially looking to extend our stay by a further two nights as when we arrived the service (valet and reception staff), facilities (gym and pool area) and location on the beach front were ideal. When I asked about extending, I was informed it’d be €735 dollars despite being able to get it for c$500 through hotels.com - odd! As we were there for only one night, decided getting a bigger place as the room was quite snug and I could only feel that we were out in the worst possible room. There was an ice machine outside our door which may as well have been in our room it was so loud. Then the cleaners and staff cupboard was directly next to our room so as they started their shift, we were awake! Not the one, sadly!

Great location! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice decor and the room was clean. Loved that we can borrow bicycles for NO extra fee. Coffee, tv, & fridge were great. Despite all this, our room was small and the shower door seemed to be missing one side; still had a motel feel. The room was not worth the price, but the beach and wharf are right across the street. Valet parking was mandatory.

We were staying there for a wedding for three nights. The first night we did not have hot water, which took maintenance two hours to respond and we missed our dinner. The road noise that night was unbelievably loud, the next day we asked to be moved. They didn’t have anything to move us to. We checked out and they charged us for our one night stay. They did not offer any type of refund or credit.

We have stayed here before, and it was a plesant experience. However, this time was not as good, so we will choose elsewhere feom the large number of places to stay in SB. At check-in time, there was only 1 front desk attendant, who was absent for at least 5 minutes while I waited. The whole process took 15 minutes, but most of that was wait time. The room was in a part of the complex we hadn't been in before. The acoustics were terrible, and we had constant noise of families walking up and down our hallway until we left for dinner. I fell asleep to noise that sounded like a circus next door. I can only imagine how it sounded to the peoe underneath them. I have no idea how the banging noises were created, but we heard them constantly. We did have a lovely ocean view feom our window, but the room was so small that there wasn't room for a chair and small table to sit at and enjoy it. Valet service was very effiecient, but we paid $400 for this room, and then $35 for parking. Next time I will stay at one of the motor lodges up the street, who don't charge for parking and include breakfast with the room. This place was basically a motor lodge in quality, except for the L'Occitaine toiletries. Its not worth the extra $100 for them.

When we stayed at this hotel, we were given a room n the second floor where you could smell the mold and looked at the shower and it was moldy inside to the point we were grossed out and asked to be moved to a different room. The 2nd one was not that bad and it was a lot cleaner. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and took care of us. One thing I was surprised was the fact that Expedia said this hotel had laundry, but when we asked, they did not have any. I don’t think I’ll stay here again. It’s definitely not worth the money we spent.
