Dog barking next room.

A. NICE. HOTEL. NEWLY. CONDITIONED

Even though this was an older property it has been well maintained. My room was immaculately clean. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating and attentive.

I'd give it a meh. We stayed because of its proximity to Mayo, but would not stay there again.

We booked our stay for 5 days but had to ask for an additional night because of the snowmageddon and the interstates were still closed. The staff were terrific but we did have a problem with the neighbors. Apparently the hotel designates one room for visitors with dogs. Our first night the neighbors had a yap-yap dog and it barked pretty steadily throughout the night followed by the owner screaming "shut up" or "Stop barking". We complained to the desk that night and they said they'd handle it. It didn't get handled. The next morning they told us that the tenants were leaving and we were relieved until the next tenant also had a dog. It was a larger dog and didn't bark as much but it did bark some. The next night a different tenant and a different dog. I guess we need to specify next visit to have a room NOT next to the kennel. Additionally, the bed wasn't exactly comfortable and the pillows were trash. It is a great location but between the beds, pillows and the kennel I'm not sure were will book another stay with them.

The hotel was clean and easy to access.

Our stay was great. Very nice and pleasant stay. Very clean and friendly people. Pillows were a little flat and bed a little hard, but for one night it was fine. A mattress pad would help and different pillows would be great.

Great value. All we needed for a one night stop.

The location is great. The building is clean and so are the rooms. The problem is the amenities. The soap ,shampoo and conditioner are not good quality. The breakfast is okay and considering it is free with stay it will work. The biggest problem for me and my daughter were the beds. They are not comfortable in the least. They are very hard. Now if you like a hard mattress you will love it but after 3 nights I could barely move. To me a comfortable bed is the biggest part of my stay. If we come back I will bring a mattress topper of some sort

My husband and I have stayed here several times over the last year. It is a wonderful updated Hotel! It is an easy 5 minute drive to the Mayo Clinic….beach….restaurants….and shopping. I highly recommend!

It is very close and convenient to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
