No TV remote in room but we figured out how to turn on and change channel. Let desk know right away if there's an issue since you have a hold fee for any incidentals which could include a missing remote. Everything else pretty much checked out ok. Make sure you don't turn in your keys until you are absolutely certain you are ready to leave. After breakfast we noted first floor restrooms were out of order, so we had to make a last-minute run back up to our room before heading out, then turned in the keys.

We always enjoy our stay at Country Inn when we visit family. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Our room and the facility are always clean. Country Inn in Goldsboro is our go to home away from home.

The lady that checked us in was wonderful, the next lady was NOT!! She had a very bad attitude. The Suite was wonderful the smell was amazing. About 12am the room upstairs the occupants was arguing really loud and slamming doors, other than that I give it a 5 star rating!!!! Looking forward to our next stay.

It's a nice place to stay

The front desk reception was so rude. She wouldn’t even take off her headphones to speak to you and let alone look at you. I didn’t know she was done after she handed me the keys and she gave me a rude look and said what do you need… and I was like oh I didn’t know we were all set because you just handed me the keys and didn’t say anything.

Simple process. Just need an expensive hotel room for one night. Clean renovations are nicely done close to many places to get food around. Walmart, Sheetz, and Apple Bees close by.

I had a good night sleep. The staff lady at check-in was very unfriendly, mumbled and did not even thank me or say goodbye or good night when I finished paying. She just left me like a hot potato. I liked the layout of the room. Lighting in the bathroom was great and so were the mirrors.

Great stay for an overnight.

Mistreated due to a credit card issue for a deposit and yelled at over the phone and in the lobby. We're fire victims and have been displaced since June 2024. I extended the stay through Expedia (hotels.com) from 11/24-11/27 for two rooms and was told to leave over the phone while I had another engagement evolving my home - including being told that all my stuff would be thrown out if I don't arrive back in 30mins. The card was on file due to staying the night prior. The owner fussed me out once I arrived back and wouldn't let me speak to clear up any confusion. He stated that I didn't want to pay the deposit and I was confused because I had given them my debit card the night prior. My teen daughter works out of town and gave her my card that morning to get gas, and was upset that I didn't have a physical card on me. They don't accept Apple Pay for a deposit. I didn't argue and stayed somewhere else for the cruelty. Apologies for the typos. Rushing! : )

Sink water pressure to low to be able to shave. TV channel find system terrible. Not informed about incidental change hold. Common gallon of milk outdated 2days. Should have individual cartons.
