The dinner was surprisingly good. The brisket sandwich was off the charts. They originally gave me a room knowingly with a VERY noisy air conditioning. They agreed to change it but was this room even made available? But very nice people. Nice room and great shower.

This hotel was okay, one of the nights they were blasting music at the bar and people were so loud so we couldn’t sleep. We were on the first floor so maybe just ask for a higher floor if you like to sleep! Other than that it was pretty good, clean, and staff was nice!

Not happy about location. Hotel is in between many big box stores. Not walkable. Advertisement misleading that it is an upscale hotel in the airport area. Title should not include airport. Old hotel that was renovated.

Receptionist was rude, had to pay extra for parking. Would have been nice to at least known about that ahead of time. Not a pleasant stay. Never coming back or getting another dime.

The night manager was extremely condescending and rude. I requested info on tourist sites and she did not know anything. Her name is Michelle as for the other managers they were helpful. The rooms were filthy and the house keeping did a lousy job, rooms smelled light marijuana, I told that manager and she just laughed; didn't make an effort to check the room. DO NOT BOOK!! This hotel Is advertising a false sense that it is next to the Coliseum Performing arts center and next to the airport! Not so, It is the Other Double Tree with small print Convention center. The other has small print airport which confuses people. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY!!. And for the record, I Never like to leave negative reviews. I usually leave positive or nothing. But this hotel is the worst I have ever in my entire life stayed. I compare to a motel 6 or super 8. And even then, they at least advertise correctly. I booked through Expedia and I called them to complain while I was staying there. They are giving me credits but we will see how much. I repeat DO NOT BOOK this hotel Double Tree by Hilton on 7401 Northwoods Bld North Charleston, South Carolina. and if you don't believe. I've warned you. PS The carpets were disgusting through out the hotel. Staff is not friendly or welcoming. It was just an awkward environment. Everyone warned me about the South! I will never return there.

Had the best experience at this property. I had to travel for work here and Michelle was the first person who took great care of all of my needs. She was attentive, even while managing many roles in the late evening. The gentleman the next day was just as nice and I even had an impromptu tour from the sales manager. Everyone I encountered at this property was great and the room was exactly what I needed as well. Plenty of space, clean, and an overall great experience!

I had a good stay I was disappointed in the fact I was not told to get coupons for breakfast my daughter paid for coffee and muffin every morning via Starbucks in the lobby and never once did anyone tell her that we were suppose to get coupons to cover our breakfast so we paid 30 dollars every day we were there ? So lack of communication I guess ! The rest of it was nice the people were very nice !

I booked a large suite and the one I was given had large stains on the carpet and furniture. When I went back to the front desk, they gave me another suite that was smaller and there was blood on one of the chairs. I didn’t get the room type that I paid a premium for. I was told they would be remodeling this hotel soon, it could use it. The hotel staff was very friendly and the onsite restaurant was convenient, the area around this hotel was busy, lots of options for food and enjoyment. I don’t understand why there’s paid parking for an open parking lot, I would probably select a double trees on another part of town next time.

I did not appreciate after traveling for hours to rest only to be fined because I did register as a guest before parking. Why is this my responsibility? Why was I not informed about this while checking in? After I inquired about it with the lady working at the desk, the response I received was not appreciated “we have signs up”. Again, I was not looking for a sign, I am looking for customer service. It just so happened to be my birthday. Regardless of this, please train your staff to educate their customers and stop responding with a smart mouth. This lady angered me to such a degree that I almost lost it!
