Had only one roll of toilet paper. The air conditioning unit was very loud.

Great.

Nice hot tub and pool and slide. Very quiet. We were able to bring our dog with us. I heard other peoples dogs in the hallway but once inside our room, quiet. Great room for the price.

Housekeeping never came after two requests. They had the same breakfast items every day. The kids lived the pool.

This was very disappointing- there was no water in the fitness center- the hot tub was not hot at all and was very murky and made both my son and I itch terribly. I booked this hotel for the hot tub and slide and we needed up barely using it. Also when we got into our room the conjoining door was unlocked. This hotel was sold out for the night which means our neighbors had access to our room until we arrived which was late(almost 11pm)

Great three day stay. Lots of bang for the buck.

This was my family’s first stay at an AmericInn. We didn’t know what to expect but were surprised by the comfortable, clean and updated rooms. We had two pet friendly rooms on the second floor. All staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. This property is close to Walmart, gas stations and many dining options which was an added bonus. The pool area WITH water slide and hot tub is open from 0700-midnight. We, unfortunately, did not make use of it as it was overrun with children during our stay. There were many families with children staying there due to softball, tumbling and cheer tournaments. This usually wouldn’t bother me BUT a few groups of unsupervised children were running the halls of the first and second floor, up and down the stairs for much of the evening. This was annoying when it came to going to and from our rooms to go to dinner, bring up our belongings from the cars and take our dogs out. Thankfully the sound didn’t permeate into the rooms aside from when they knocked on one of our doors at 1100pm and proceed to run + hide.

My granddaughter loved the waterslide. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was large and clean. This hotel was close to all the fun things to do at Mt. Rushmore. Will definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable

So far this was the worst stay on our vacation. Once we checked in there were no carts to take our luggage up to the room. Once we got the room, the room had an awful smell to it. At night the shade was broke and won’t come down all the way. There was no ice bucket in the room. The floor in the pool area was very rough and falling apart.
