The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival. I was allocated a good size double room on the 9th floor overlooking the castle. The room has basic amenities, but it was perfect for a short city break. Housekeeping were making the bed and took out the rubbish every day, which was amazing as the room was kept clean for the duration of my stay. The hotel is in a very central location (Liberdade- nearest Metro stations are Avenidas and Rato). Marque de Pompal and Restauradores are at walkable distance, which is very convenient as this is where the majority of tours and day trips start from. There is also a big Continente nearby where you can buy water and other everyday essentials. Despite being so centrally located I felt safe walking around the area on my own, even in the late hours, so I would recommend this hotel both in terms of convenience and safety.

This place by far has the best reception staff. They make you feel at home and go above and beyond. Jessica and Tiago were just great. They were so helpful friendly and always ready to help. I will highly recommend this place. Small but clean. Great location to be at. 5 stars

Great location, close to City Centre (Liberdade) and attractions. Hotel staff provided great service and very knowledgeable, lots of dining and shopping options. Felt very safe!!

Very short walk to Liberdade. (Some uphill back to hotel but manageable). Plenty of restaurants and bars with in walking distance. Hotel employees were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast available for a price. Area was safe. City Center.

The hotel could use a good cleaning. Rugs in the halls were disgusting. Good breakfast. Most staff were friendly but one front desk lady was not. Reserved a 2 bed room but was given a one bed room. Desk lady said they didnt have a 2 bed available, but when I showed her my reservation online she miraculously found us the proper room. Be ready to climb steep hills in any direction from this hotel.

I had a very good and quiet stay at the ibis Liberdade hotel in Lisbon. A hotel with warm hearted and very friendly staff members. Top class breakfast.

Staff were lovely but the hotel itself had odd flaws. Was lift works and drilling going on and weren’t made aware at the time and the rooms really warm but they said they couldn’t do anything about that, they did give us a fan though to try help so staff did all they could to it what they had
