Great staff and excellent amenities, close to town...free snacks and drinks

My father and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Ilaria in Lucca. It's location and proximity to all that Lucca has to offer couldn't be beat! The service was great and the continental breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

Hotel Ilaria is a nice hotel in the city center of Lucca. Parking available. We had a spacious room in the dependance building across the street. Fantastic bed, very clean bathroom with a good shower. Excellent breakfast and free biles to make a city tour. We will be back

Great location, friendy helpful staff - cafeteria and happy hour are a great touch. Within the city walls so very handy for touring Lucca. Book ahead for car parking.

Beautiful property, lovely staff and nice breakfast. The complimentary snacks and drinks and the bikes that were free to borrow were a real added bonus. Highly recommend this hotel and hoping to return.

Beautiful, well-located hotel with excellent breakfast. My only quibble was that air conditioning was not available and it was difficult to cool the room below 23 degrees celsius, even with keeping the window open.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Hot tub was only warm but deck was lovely.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff both at the front desk and breakfast buffet are very friendly. The room is spacious. The breakfast selections are great, especially various delicious cakes, pastries, and variety of fruits. It’s very thoughtful to have a snack bar in the lounge area, which provides convenience for either small breaks during the day or before/after check-in and check-out.

The staff at Hotel Ilaria, Claudia, Ilaria, Paula, Alessandro, Alina, Pilar, Bruno, and the other friendly people always make me feel like I am returning “a casa.” The lobby is always welcoming, the modernized rooms are comfortable, and the abundant breakfast is superb. Grazie mille!

We loved staying here! From the delicious breakfast in the morning, to the wonderful staff, to the clean rooms, to the safe inconvenient area, and to the snack bar out in the lobby, it was a perfect visit and we cannot wait to return

We were in the annex across the road - simple small touches like checking our key worked on arrival so we didn’t get locked out or have to go back to reception, amazing breakfast and the happy hour drinks and snacks are a lovely touch. Second stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint- we will return.

We highly recommend hotel Ilaria in Lucca. Very clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. They also provide parking although it’s €35 per night, it’s definitely worth it as parking is very difficult in town.

Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ilaria. Your staff were always polite, cheerful and helpful. The snacks and prosecco in the hotel meant that we spoke to fellow guests and a very happy atmosphere was generated. The hotel was close to everything in Lucca that we wanted to see.

Nice property in a really convenient position to explore the old town

The staff made extraordinary efforts to ensure that every aspect of our time there was outstanding including, when necessary, coordinating with outside vendors.

The location in Lucca is excellent. Lucca is walkable anyway but to have this so close to both the train station and the city center was fantastic ! What stood out to me though was the staff. So friendly, so helpful - and the service was effortless . . like they do it for all the right reasons. Will stay here again when in town
