Overall Ratings & Reviews Best Western Syracuse Downtown Hotel and Suites

This is my second time visiting this hotel and it has been a consistently amazing experience. From the front desk staff to the cleanliness of the room you would think you are staying in a 5 star hotel. This hotel has old time charm in a modern style. The room is very spacious and the view is fantastic. It’s centrally located to some great restaurants. I’m staying here moving forward anytime I have to come to Syracuse University to visit my child.

Great experience

Our AC did not work in our room. I called the front desk and the night “manager” came to replace the batteries in the thermostat which didn’t work either. I asked if she please had a fan since our room was very hot and no air cycling at all. Then we asked for a different room, apparently there were none available. The day manager came in, in the morning, I let her know what happened and she did take some money off our bill. The day manager, Stephanie was very nice.

Room 1100 was tiny and a/c did not seem to work Room at a constant 72. Property is in a nice location

Fantastic kitchenette minu-suite!

Excellent- all the amenities- full size fridge, microwave, silverware - even a dishwasher! And some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had in a hotel

Parking kind of sucks but that is out of their control. The

Lot of hair all over the bathroom floor. No soap. No channel guide for the TV. Poor lighting in the bathroom. One light by the bed had no bulb. But comfortable bed, convenient location.

Close to venue

The hotel was very nice and the staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the theater, restaurants, and train station. We like the hotel very much and are looking forward to our next stay.

Love how clean the rooms were.

I like breakfast. I haven't gotten refund on the deposit for door cards.

Shower didn’t drain. Bathroom door didn’t open all the way past the sink. No bottled water in room. Only powdered creamer in the room with Keurig. Overall a less than average, outdated hotel.

We had a wonderful stay.

Nice cozy and relaxing hotel. Be ready for the weekend there are lots of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. No complaints here.

Location is good but onsite parking is very limited. This is a pretty big drawback for us.
