Property was nice and clean BUT the front desk staff ( evening shift) were very rude and wouldn’t give their name (only 1 person during my stay) because I asked if they carried bottled water, she insisted I drink out the water fountain which was in the lobby, she also said it was city water and it’s filtered, I then asked if the filter was on a schedule serving, she then told me there was nothing else to talk about when I said to she’s bring rude she just ignored me and started texting on her phone.

This was likely my worst experience at a hotel. Hear me out, I did not go in with High Expectations. It is a “Quality” Inn.. however… the person at the front desk insisted she needed to charge me for the room, even though I paid on Hotels.com and could show her my receipt. She said she still had to swipe my card for the room and incidentals but I could talk to her manager about it the next day. In an effort to have a place to sleep before my kids’ swim meet the next day, I gave her my card. We got to the room and it smelled like mold (not stuffy) - MOLD. There were towels underneath the AC units (to collect water?!) I went back down to talk to the same front desk person. Her response, “all the rooms smell like that, it’s an old hotel that leaks when it rains” 😳 Y’all it took FOUR days for the manager to finally call me back. He tried to assure me that all the rooms don’t smell like that but they “new employee” who told me that sounded like she was just speaking her truth and I should have just slept in my car. Thankfully, the manager reversed the charge and offered me Choice Hotels points for my frustration but I never got the email he promised.

The freezer/fridge didn't work there was water on floor from it defrosting..... Then it started working middle of the night, blind in room didn't close so the light in parking lot shined on you all night. TV didn't work had to get another remote and there was literally nothing to watch not even news. Disappointed but it was clean

Locking key card entry side door was broken and didn't lock. Also I was charged a $50 dollar security deposit just incase they would have found evidence of smoking in my room, which I am a non smoker. Our hallway on the third floor was filled with pot smoke and Quality in is worried about cigarette smoke. Hope I get my security deposit back. If this is Quality Inn policy at all of there locations then we won't be staying at this hotel chain again.
