Super friendly and helpful staff. Lived the free shuttle down to the main hotel and bistro. Food good. Lively room, comfy bed and beautiful outlook complete with kangaroos.

Wonderful staff, very professional and helpful.

The staff are warm, friendly and knowledgable about the local area. The verandah is soooo peaceful with nature everywhere. Have to drive to reception n breakfast, but no hassles. The villas have the biggest bathroom ive ever seen, with a beautiful big bath to enjoy. Bed was so comfortable n villa was very clean. Get ready to get fit with the stairs. Will definately stay again and highly recoomend this peaceful resort.

Comfortable stay although the rooms need a good makeover.

Booked to stay at Oaks but was put into Elysia, did not go to hunter valley for an alcohol free vegetarian retreat. Also was raining when we arrived and had to walk to our villa which was not under cover, had to drive to neighbouring resort (oaks) for non vegetarian meal options

Stayed here a couple years ago, still a nice place to stay and explore the hunter.

Staff were fantastic

We had the 3 bedrooms family apartment and loved it. We have stayed here before. There is a lovely deck to sit out on in the mornings and have breakfast. The kids love the pool, basketball court and tennis court. The location is great because you can walk to the Hunter Valley Gardens in about 20 minutes or drive in 5 minutes. Stayed there for the Easter long weekend so there was more than an hour delay for check-in but we were given a drinks voucher. Will definitely stay here again. The apartments have everything you need to prepare meals.

Property has magificent views and is in good condition.

CHECK BEFORE YOU BOOK! We booked and received confirmation on accommodation at Oaks Cypress Lakes, only to receive an email from their sister property Elysia Wellness 5 days before the trip advising they were excited for our stay. The room type we selected was NOT at Oaks but at the Elysia Resort - but this was not identified in any initial booking or accom confirmations. Both properties were nice but just be aware as they're two very different places.

Overall, the Resort was a nice place to stay as a family at a convenient location. However, the cleanliness of our villa (Two Bedroom Premier Villa) was disappointing. The downstairs area (kitchen, dining & living) had a strong mouldy odour, and for a few hours in the evening it smelled like sewage. The couch was dirty and had visible large stains.

Facilities within the resort make dinning and family activities much easier.

Could play golf at the property.

The location and property was good. The comfort score was low due to poor beds. Apartment 533 required single new mattresses in 2nd bedroom. Broken single mattress contributed poor sleep and back pain morning. The poor quality beds doesn't justify the price.
