The location feels unsafe at night, and some surrounding streets are not well lit.
Read their Expedia listing carefully, as it can be misleading. It states that you will get ONE continental breakfast for ONE person per day, and that is exactly what you get. I booked a room for two, and they gave me only one breakfast for one person. That said, it’s worth paying the extra charge for the buffet.
The facilities are clean but old and not in good condition. The hallways feel like a cheap hotel. The beds are old, and the air conditioning is outdated and difficult to adjust—it blows in only one direction, so you end up either too hot or too cold. The bathtub was clean, but it didn’t work properly and had a leak; you had to firmily hold the faucet for a few seconds to make the water switch to the shower. The toilet was clean, but it felt unusually low, almost like it was made for kids. I’ve stayed in hotels with lower room rates that were in much better condition.
There was no safe deposit box in the room.
The windows were dirty.
The key-card system to control the lights didn’t work.
I booked two nights at this hotel, but within the first few hours of the first day, I realized I didn’t want to stay there. I contacted Expedia immediately and asked them to cancel the second, but they were not able to do so. It was really disappointing.
