Really beautiful property. Staff were amazing and food was terrific..!! Will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

The staff were absolutely wonderful and went over and beyond putting a fridge in my room with oat milk for my toddler. Everyone was friendly, kind and helpful and we never felt rushed when dining.

Perfect from check-in to check-out. Beautiful place, friendly helpful staff, delicious food, lovely light room, comfortable bed and sitting area. If I had to criticise anything it would be the slightly awkward kettle arrangement with the lead being very short but that's it! We will be back!

The service provided by the local team at Gisborough Hall was of the highest order, but more important was the fact that staff were always cheerful and displayed a positive demeanour which is so sadly lacking in many hotels and restaurants in this country today. We felt like we were visiting family during our stay and will look forward to returning.

From arrival all staff were super friendly and helpful. We mentioned at the bar in the afternoon that it was my husband's birthday and much later that evening he was presented with a happy birthday plate with chocolates on it. The food was beautiful, lovely wine and a chilled out ambience in the lounge. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

We liked everything. Exceptional staff. Bedroom very comfortable with beautiful bathroom and this was one of the cheaper rooms. Breakfast cooked to order. Best quality products. We could not find fault.

What an amazing property with history and character, the staff is very helpful and the food is fantastic. Have stayed here a number of times and would recommend to anyone wanting a day or two away in the country.

Fantastic stay as always, we stayed for our 11 wedding anniversary in the place we got married Staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a fantastic time We even got an upgrade to the Fountain Suite

Nice hotel with good breakfast. Possibly a little over priced given limited facilities but proved to be a relaxing environment to meet up with family and friends.

We had afternoon tea at the property on check in day which was excellent with very good attentive service. My wife is in a wheelchair and the whole building, once in, is very easily accessible. She can walk so getting in and out of the building was easier than using the wheelchair, but there is an accessible entrance. We had dinner there on one night which again was excellent, very tasty and with very good service. The breakfast on both days was poor sadly. It was cold and on both days we had to ask where our drinks / food were. As the food was cooked for the table, not buffet style, this was poor. The service was less inattentive. When I mentioned this on check out I was not believed. It is however a lovely hotel and a good place to stay.

The food and service was fantastic and the hotel environment was very relaxing.

Very clean, tidy, only really used the amenities whilst attending a wedding elsewhere.

We had a lovely stay at Gisborough Hall. A last minute booking through Expedia at great value. The staff here are so lovely. Ate in the Brus Grill on the Friday which was very good. Had drinks in the lounge and played some of their board games too. Walkable into town where there are many bars to choose from too.

This is a great spot. The staff is efficient and courteous ,the rooms are clean, spacious and the property is beautiful. Short walk into town if you are bored.

We liked the quietness of the hotel We didn’t like the heat in the bedrooms could do with air conditioning Also noticed in the lounge some guest were given nibbles while they are sat in the lounge and some wasn’t like us.

Beautiful house and lovely well kept gardens. Large bedroom and bathroom. 2 restaurants . Food very nice fine dining in the formal restaurant more casual in the bar restaurant. Convenient for whitby and surrounding areas to visit.
