Clean room, courtesy

The heater in one of our rooms didn’t work.We reported this issue to the hotel staff around midday; however, when we returned in the evening, nothing had been resolved. As no equivalent rooms were available for an immediate room change, we were only offered a smaller room instead. This situation did not meet the accommodation standards advertised at the time of booking and significantly affected our stay. We therefore request appropriate compensation or a partial refund for the affected night(s).

Staff is extremely friendly, food options are wonderful and rooms comfortable. Small but comfortable.

Rooms were not clean. There was broken glass on the desk that cut me, and the window leaked water into the room when it rained.

The hotel was clean. The room was cleaned daily including Saturday and Sunday. We had breakfast. The food was good. It was worth it.

Dirty sheets, dirty walls, dirty curtains, weird smell, phones don’t work so you have to walk to reception to ask anything, and this limits what you can do like asking for room service or if you can check out online or order things like fresh towels. All in all, wouldn’t go back again.

The overall hotel experience was good.

The hotel was fully booked throughout our stay which may have contributed to the overall experience. We were a group of ten, so check-in was very laboured - in the end, we left our passports at the front desk and partook in a couple of beers whilst awaiting confirmation of our rooms. Once again, even though it was a VIP booking, no-one received a room upgrade. Several of us experienced a problem with the room key not enabling access to our rooms - having to trek back to reception to reauthorise access - a real pain in the proverbial. One of the revolving entrance / exit doors jammed and a member of our group banged his head badly. The hotel is a little out from the centre (about 4 miles) but cabs are permanently available at around 10-12 euros a time. I wouldn't put anyone off staying here as the staff are friendly and the facilities are fine - but on this trip the best I could rate the hotel is "okay!"

A bit far from city center.

Nice hotel in a decent location. Big place that was well run and in good condition. Bar and restaurant very nice as is the pool and surrounding area. Room was hot and could not get A/C to work, also very disappointing that there was no kettle or coffee machine as well as no complimentary water or anything like that.

Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast.
