We booked two rooms for our 5 night stay while we visited the Creation Museum and the Ark. Overall the hotel was average. Not terrible but not good or great either. Breakfast: Standard hotel fare of waffle maker, cereal, bagels, muffins, and hot selections of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon (for one day), and biscuits and gravy (only one day). The biscuits and gravy were really good and I wish they had them every day! Staff: Courteous but not super friendly, which I’m fine with. If you’re looking for a staff to kiss your butt when you come in, go elsewhere. But if you want staff that handles their business politely, then this is it. Pool: Water was cloudy, but was clean. Standard mid-level hotel pool. General facilities: In disrepair and kinda dilapidated. There were all kinds of water spots on the ceilings in places, including near an ice machine where the ceiling tile completely crumbled and fell down on the ground. It was there all week, which tells me the cleaning crew didn’t clean that area, which tells me how they might feel about cleaning elsewhere. Didn’t look like they took any pride in the upkeep and appearance of their place. Room: Clean enough for me. A few small stains on the linens but I could tell they were clean. TV was old and had a picture that showed it. Good enough for me, but picky folks might not like it. It was middle of the road. For a few more bucks a night I’d stay elsewhere. Didn’t hate it, but sure didn’t love it.

When we walked in the facility @1am Saturday morning 8/9/25 it smelt clean and well taken care of. We got our key and stayed on the second floor, the hallways smelled like mold, when you walked into the room, the air condition was on and it was freezing we turned on the heat a little and it smelt like something was burning. I went down to reception to ask for another room, we transferred our stuff to room 305 the smell was even worst, the wash clothes were stained, same thing with the air conditioner, the smell of mold and in the morning we woke up to ants on the night stand we left at 4am because I could not take it anymore. Not only that they tried to still charge me and not accommodate me at all given the proof I had. My room was $264 they tried charging my card $364, after that charge it was $264 then another time for $100 numerous charges where I had to lock my card. I would never in my life stay at this hotel again! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!

I am thankful for the staff getting me from the hotel once my flight was late arrived. The first day there I noticed the lap didn’t work. They attempted to switch it out for me but with no power to outlet or the other lamp was also defective. Thought my window did not open 3 fly managed to find there way into my room my guess is there point of entry was via the ac unit or the gap between the door which allowed be a view of the hall closed while I my room with the door closed. The entire staff was helpful and did what they could the manager said she would advocate for a 15% refund for my inconvenience.

Breakfast was very limited and did not feel fresh. Was surprised they did not have bacon. Who does not have bacon as an option.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. We have young children and I always do a sweep of the room, especially floors to ensure there are no small things left behind that my children might find and try and put in their mouths. I found 4 different pills on the floor under the dresser / coffee area! Two were prescription pills!! Thank God I found them. They were all visible while standing, so it is not like I had to search very hard. In addition to that, I found literal garbage under there...dirty used napkins, moldy food items, etc. So gross! An easy solution for the hotel would be to put some sort of board to prevent these items from falling and rolling or gettong pushed under the dresser.

I stayed in Room 215, right at the top of the lobby stairs, with a view of the front desk from my door. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and the entire property was spotless. The pool was lovely, and the laundry room was impressively clean. I felt completely safe during my stay, and the location couldn’t be better — just five minutes to the airport. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. With my background as a former Assistant Manager at a Ramada Inn and current hotel inspector, I can say with confidence: this hotel is “move-in worthy.” I truly felt at home here. The only area I’d suggest for improvement is the welcome mat and elevator, as these are key first impressions. The elevator could use a deep cleaning in all its corners and crevices, plus a polish on the metal surfaces. The wood trim, while understandably hard to maintain, had noticeable chips and scratches that detract from an otherwise impeccable image. Still, the positives far outweigh the minor fixes. The breakfast was great, the staff was consistently sweet and professional, and even when I left at 1 a.m. to pick up my daughter, the front desk clerk was nearby, sitting at the patio table outside — a charming and reassuring touch. I would absolutely stay here again.

No one was available for check in for several minutes, house keeping walked by and had to get someone from the back to come upfront. Breakfast didn’t have many options. The waffle batter ran out, I asked if there was more batter, she was very rude and said breakfast was over at 9:30, this wasn’t even 9:00 yet, and she would have to see, she never came back.
