We were on 5th floor, and room was very warm, so needed to use the air conditioning, however it was not very efficient. That is the only complaint. The room, and in fact all of the hotel was immaculate, staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Would return to this hotel if I was visiting Budapest again.

A really lovely little gem with great staff

I just stayed at the Ambra for a week and give it a very high review. The hotel staff is excellent and always helpful and efficient. The hotel is well maintained and located in a great area for local dining as well as walking to many of the historical sites.

Staff were helpful, providing tips for getting around the city during our short stay.

Just loved this hotel. The staff was so amazing and helpful. The room itself was nice, clean and modern, and what a lovely balcony. Good breakfast. And they also had an own garage. Within walking distance to sightseeings and restaurants. I would definitely be back.

Fabulous friendly staff. Very smart hotel in a central location, easy to navigate your way to the main attractions in Budapest and plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in the area. Breakfast was good, good selection and replenished very quickly

The hotel was good with easy access to restaurants, and the main attractions. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. The rooms were well set up but the carpet could be a bit cleaner in the main area.

Great staff, location and breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Short walk to transit hubs and key locations. Lots of bars and resturants close by.

The staff at this hotel was amazing. They were always ready to help us for anything. We had travelling issues (unrelated to this hotel) that had to be resolved on the phone in Hungarian and they acted as our translators a few times. Very polite and friendly too. The hotel is small, but clean and looks recently renovated. The area around the hotel looks a little less polished but we felt very safe the whole time. Lots of restaurants/bars in walkable distance.

Service was friendly, accommodations were clean, breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel was conveniently located.

The best was the staff and their kindness. The rooms are small like an average European room. The bathroom to small. The noice outside was terrible, I will not recommend to stay in rooms that face the street.
